Hmm very strange if this is true maybe stores are just getting dates mixed up.
But who cares if it comes out a day later than expected big whoop.

there rite cause there in the store at the 4th but there usually avalible the next day around 10:30am sometimes...

Actually, this is very common, for both games and music records. The dates you see on websites and magazines are almost always shipping dates.

When I preordered MKDA two years ago from Gamestop I had to wait an extra day. Then, like an idiot, I preorder MKD from Gamestop - and I got a class beginning on the 5th, too!

This is probably true. I worked retail for a long time and I knwo with most big releases like GTA games, Maddens, etc etc, we had em before the release date, we just couldnt sell them until the release date (unless someone broke street date, remember that happened with MK1 on genesis and snes) However it is also possible its the ship date, as tempusername said i believe, sites will often list the ship date instead of the date available.

Trust me if it was coming out on the 5th Boon would have said it. But he said the 4th which means: Thats when he plans on the game being out for SALE.

i preordered from EB and they said they are getting it the 5th also 4 is shipping and they also said they are getting the strategy guide the 1st

Same here. My EB has a release of the 5th, as well.

As well as mine....I was told by 2pm on the 5th. I'm still crossing my fingers that I receive a call on the 4th.

I preordered 3 mk things. I preordere Deception which they said was comming out the fourth for me to pick up. Then I preordered the strategy guide which comes out the 28th. Then I preordered mk greatest hits 2 which comes out october 11.

The Oct. 4th is for the people who preorder their copy early and the one who didn't must wait a day to get their. Trust me because when NFL 2K5 came out I went to go buy it at EB game store and they say I couldn't buy it since I didn't preorder it early even though it the release date it only for the preorder people.

Very true. I remember my friend was allowed to get Madden a day before everyone else because he preordered.

I went too "Electronic Gaming." (affiliated with GameStop) and they said come October 4th around 1:00pm.

EB games is also getting there's on the Oct.5
The game ships on the 4th and release on the 5th. All New Releases release on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
I ask about 5 stores if they would release the game on the 4th if you pre-order it, and all of them said that everyone would get MK:D on the 5th, if you pre-order your gurantee a copy!!!

Come on, we've been waiting all summer, one more day won't kill you.....
