At the end of my post on rules I said the problem with these rules it that it will lead to another set of rules written or unwritten......Gerchap...you already implemented the unwritten ban for talking about rules rule. and the I will close threads in the cage when I feel like it rule because Gerchap doesnt like the content. I honestly don't have energy left for online controversies. I do hope that the community can remain stable and learn from all the shit that's happened in the past. It'd be a great shame if nothing changes.

Here is an idea that might end future corruption at your site.

1. Fix the rules...i would willing to help
2. Create new position - being that it is my idea the position should be called (The Maverick)....an independent agent to moderate mods and admins...The person can be like anyone else on the boards...there job is to keep the admins/mods in check.Its simple...they cant be banned or silenced or warned. They can lift bans, and lift silences and re-open closed threads. Also all ban reviews should be directed to that person. Of course I think i would be perfect...but truth is power corupts and I dont want that...instead just name the postion after me (the maverick...its actually fitting.).....I think that this person should be nominated and elected by the users....the person would only hold that position for a fixed time....3 - 6 months and there should be no back to back terms. this person will be totally unable to ban users or do anything to users....it sets up a perfect checks and balance system......Mods check users(via silence, bans, moving threads, warnings etc.) - Maverick checks mods(via veto power and the ability to re-open closed threads.) and users check maverick (via vote)

I think it would work best if there were 2 mavericks..that way nobody can claim favorites....if you have to people who were voted in not like and the mods....then you might deserve what you get. there only power would be to unban, unsilence individuals and re-open closed threads...Mavericks can never be silenced or banned as long as they hold the postion. However, if they are bad they just wont be voted in again...and if they were very bad during that time....the mods could ban said person after they left office.

think about this idea. Put your egos aside and think about it. It will take away power from admins and mods....it makes the owners only role...site up keep. It gives everyone a chance and doesnt make anyone too powerful.. What it will do is make EVERYONE.....

That is because it forces everyone to work together. Btw...mods should not be able to vote on the Maverick...they can however, endorse a candidate so to speak.

There have been far too many threads like this allowed in this forum. I'm not going to let this argument to continue here. If you have personal issues with those people I suggest taking it up else where. If you really think you're above those people, and more of an adult and the winner of the "internet war" then prove it. Be an adult and move on because frankly this is getting childish. This forum is to discuss Mortal Kombat in relation to XBL, not for petty arguments between XBL users.
