Most people or should I say everyone from the whole x-box community who does not play with freethrows can't beat me in a series even if I'm playing by their terms. I'm telling you plus everyone else who follows this nonexistent code of honor of not playing with freethrows just use them there is nothing wrong with it the conservative approach of playing me is not going to work. Whats the difference between Hireenergy and Redsaleen (besides the fact that hireenergy is a a-hole)? One abuses glitches to a certain point, and the other abuses to the fullest. Again, i ask people, where do you draw the line? The "the game allows it, so use it" theory is garbage. Game allows Moving before the round and infinites too. People on here have drawn the line at 1 FT & OTG per combo.... thats fine. I dont care. People can use all the free throws against me that they want, but i will never use them. Thats the way i play.

Because you get a higher damager opportunity through successfully reading your opponent or "guessing right".
Why the hell would you f+1,teleport,50/50 with raiden when you can f+1,teleport and take a guaranteed throw? It's stupid. The game is played this way by the best players, and there's nothing anybody can do about it. Infinites and fighting before the round make the game unplayable. Free throws and OTGs do not.

Yo, Quest, whenever I play that Lefty kid he gets all cocky and "thug" in the mic whenever he hit one move, so I then proceed to lay the Smackdown on him and he usually quits after I win the first round.
OCCASIONALLY he'll stay to be beat for the second round then quit on the select screen.

I did take free throws but we both were and lets admit they made the difference in a lot of matches down to the wire.

The way you play is the way you play I was just trying to give you some helpful advice that will not only result in more wins for you against me, but will also help you grow as a player. The advice I tried to give you has nothing to do with me having a high opinion of myself its just real talk you feel me? Hireenergy is a pussy who does complete infinites and moves before the round if he can't beat you with the typical f+3 happy Bo. He's a straight up bitch that hides behind his tv set and does shady shit. Red may use freethrows but he never moves before the round and infinites he plays fairly in my opinion that is the difference between Red and Hireenergy.

Playing with freethrows helps improve your defense If I know that I'm playing against someone who does not use freethrows and I'm guessing a 50/50 its easier to guess because the chances of that person taking a throw are eliminated. Like Versatile said it just makes more sense to take the throw, guaranteed damage to your opponent, rather than 50/50 I don't fall for that shit. Playing without freethrows only works on scrubs anyone who is high-level or an above average player is going to be dominant against that because all of the high-level players I know play with freethrows or have played with freethrows in the past. That's why I don't understand why the whole x-box community does not play to win the way of thinking is lame in my opinion you stun your opponent and set them up for a freethrow whether it be with jinko, Bo, N/S etc. Why not take that freethrow you're just making things harder for yourself. I don't know since I've went to the PS2 I've gotten so much better because the competition is so much better and they are not bound to this nonexistent code of honor of not playing with freethrows. Pretty much over on that side anything goes except for infintes and semi-infinites there are only a handful of people over there that complain about freethrows. The conservative way of playing this game is not going to cut it if you are playing someone of high-level.

Rain is sick in MKA his powers over water are insane. I look forward to raping with him when MKA comes up he will be one of my main characters if not my main character. I understand what you are saying. However, if i use FT's versus you- it may make me better- but in return you would use FT's and you too would be better. Its all relative. THat is why i would rather play it straight vs straight.

THere may be people that complain about FTs.. I am NOT one of them. Most of the people i play use them and thats fine. I prefer to play the game straight and because of that i prefer to play people that play it straight. Whats wrong with having that preference? Easy plays it straight is very respected for his play. I have YET to complain that someone is using free throws against me. I understand what you and Versatile are saying, but the game is better with out FTs IMO.

Trust me BOH the path to becoming better in this game is learning how to use freethrows. It not only improves your 50/50 game but it also improves your defense. I'm not saying to completely use freethrows from now on. I'm just saying learn how to play at a high-level with them. Use them for a while then go back to not playing with freethrows. When you don't use freethrows your 50/50's are almost too predictable and I will block them and avoid them everytime. You and eazytobeat have similiar styles and yall both would be a lot better if yall learned how to play with freethrows and just accept the fact that freethrows are part of the game. The only people who can compete against me in this game on x-box are people who base their games around freethrows or people who once based there game around freethrows and have developed a defense similiar to mine (ex:Stretch). Knowing how to play with or without freethrows is essential to high-level play in this game.

moves werent designed to be safe, online play creates thats. so dont say play the game how its supoose to be played. certain people has advantages from connection. so using free throws is no different. u play to win without cheating.
unless u are playing offline, u cant play the game how it was designed to be played. when u can duck the free throw froms subs 1 in weapon, u arent playing on fair grounds to start.
there will be glitches in mka that will give free damage, they will used. so as long as u hav breakers and parrys, and the mk team actually tests all the moves and makes the same set of moves breakerable for each guy, free damage wont be a prob.
only thing that made mkd so broken is that throws launched, make throws non launchable and watch what happens, o wait they did that after they saw there mistake.. so if free throws are in mka it wont matter, cause they wont launch.. and i rather hav the free throw cause since the lag makes juggles not work half the time, i rather get my damage im deserved than having to rely on a connection to let me land full juggles, so this air kombat can kiss my ass.

The best way to learn freethrows is not only by reading that big thread red made about them but by playing someone who actually uses them but the next time we play I will play the way I normally do which is with freethrows and OTG's and I hope you do the same. Trust me the playing without freethrow approach only works on newbies a high-level player will beat someone who is inexperienced in using freethrows 95% of the time. Also what you said about neither one of us having an advantage because both of us are not using freethrows is not true in my opinion. Reason being is because I have mastered playing with and without freethrows so it is more likely I will have a better understanding from a defensive point of view and I will be able to guess your 50/50's a lot better than you would do to me.
