Do you think there should be an equal amount of bad and good guys on each side and you have to choose either good or bad and then if you choose good you only fight bad guys? and vise versa? or should it remain the same as it has been?

See, this is what I have been saying. There should be more than good, evil, and neutral. More depth in the story.

I think there should be 6 sides:

Earth (raiden sonya, etc)

Edenia (Sindel, Kitana, Jade)

Outworld (Khan, Noob, baraka)

DA (Shang, Quan Chi, Red Dragon)

DK (Dragon king and his minions)

Others (Scorpion,Sektor)

They should have a choose your destiny screen and instead of choosing a battle plan you choose to fight on either the side of good or evil. This way if you choose evil that player can only select evil fighters and vice versa.

hmmmm that sounds interesting, i want to extend on that.

if anyone has played twisted metal black, in the storymode there is 3 cutscenes involving information on their story. mabey in the beginning you see an intro movie on your character, you beat your destiny match, perhaps a rival or something, then you get a second movie, that shows you what the character must do. and the third video would be after you beat the game with the character.

I dont like the idea-- its just a game afterall and fighting the opposite faction wouldnt make the game any more interesting in my opinion.

I just think it would be interesting to fight only as bad guys or only as good guys. It would bring a different facet to the game that's all.

in a tournament, you might end up having to beat your friends... its not really necessary to fight the opposite side that is assuming that MK6 would be a tournament...

about the 3 videos, then that way, i cant cheat by using my best character in the first few rounds and switch to the character i want to finish in the final boss... sad

Actually, by right, in arcade mode the boss character (at least) should depend on who your character is. For example, (if in MKDA) if you picked a good guy, than the guy at the top should be Quan Chi or Shang Tsung.
If you pick a bad guy, than the guy at the top should be Raiden or something. I don't know, just an idea.

I agree. That's how it should be and then it would be like the actual story then. A bad guys final challenge isn't going to be someone they're working with and vice versa.

I think the idea of different clans is a good idea. I think as you go along you can obtain characters. I didnt like the idea f the money and the "koffins". I think each person has their own special mission. Like sub-zero ends up fighting scorpion or soemthing along the lines. Just an idea.

Thats what i didnt like about selecting characters. You could use someone to do the dirty work until the boss, then switch after you die! That sucks. I think that you should be able to choose your own side (good or bad) in arcade mode, but story mode follows its own path. know what i mean?

I agree here. It should be up to the player whether or not to play in classic arcade mode or select a storyline mode.

In arcade pick a character and just keep fighting, no cut screens and you can end up fighting anyone.

In storymode, pick a side and/or team and have a story with cutscenes. If they do this, I do hope they leave a few surprises like one of the good guys actually being evil or the other way around.
