Save for the Lantern, they are ass.

Raiden's fatality doesn't look like something that would be allowed in a T-rated game.

Still, they're all great. I like Green Lantern's the most. It's funny.

What the hell is up with Raiden's arm going straight through his opponent when he goes to grab them. That is very poor execution, in my opinion, and just plain lazy. Hopefully, this video was taken a while ago, and this is fixed now.

All Green Lantern's needs is a big crunch sound, otherwise it's lame. All they need is a better sound effect and it's awesome.

Raiden's has clipping issues and they turn to a skeleton too quickly. Just add more smoke and sort out the clipping issues and you've got yourself a good but seen it before Raiden Fatality.

The Flash's looked cool, but this HEROIC BRUTALITY crap sounds awfull. Just Brutality please.

I thought all three of those were great. Gore is window dressing, not a main attraction.

The skeleton in Raiden's was a shock but then I remembered that even the home versions of MK1 still got to have skeletons. I love the way it smokes and twitches afterward. Great graphical touch.

Green Lantern: Meh...unexciting at best.

Raiden: Not original, but still cool. Would have been cooler if the Joker had a joybuzzer fatality and it looked like that.

The Flash: Not totally original (Fujin), but still very cool and fun.

So fatalities are gonna look badass in Mk9..
i like how raiden's body flops on the ground at the end of green lanterns finisher..
The flash's was also good considering it served its purpose as a KO hit..
That is all "heroic brutalities" are Knock out hits..
as for raiden's i think it was well.. unfinished :\
like when u look at it.. u think they were going for something but couldn't quite get it done right!.. The graphics look amazing tho.. the physics and all.. just hyping up Mk9!..

If you really really think about it.. had this been rated M and DC could preform fatalities.. i think the mk team wouldn't have been much more creative than this.. just imagine raiden having cartoonish eyes pop out then exploding for no reason... same would happen to deathstroke and kano..
the only difference is.. this way the kills aren't extremely unnatural.. they fit the superheroes and you know what i really don't mind seeing fatalaties that keep the victims body parts intact.. i think we could use a few do gooders in Mk.. believe it or not it could add a level of maturity to the game.. i still think they should rip people to shreds.. but have a hand of good people on their..

GREEN LANTERN

He gets a 3.5/5

**The Good***

- Looks VERY COOL.
- The effect of the sphere is awesome.
- The Victims struggles inside the spear are wicked!
- His pose and movements are cool.
- The way the victim falls defeated into the ground looks nice, but it is kind of like a weak ending.

**The Bad**

- Even though I wasn't expecting the result of this brutality, I feel very disappointed that it's just like MKD's Kenshi's in a way.
- Not unique. Another kind of MK fatality.

RAYDEN

He gets a 4/5

**The Good***

- Its just AWESOME!
- Love the thunder shocks.
- The sudden thunder strike is wicked.
- The skeleton transformation was shocking and unexpected.
- The flesh like smoke coming out of the skeleton is wicked!
- The skeleton shaking in the end looks very cool.

**The Bad**

- His hand sticks out of the victim like a glitch.
- The way he grabs the victim doesnt look right.
- I feel like his ending pose could had been better. The lighting that goes to his hand in the end looks weird.

The Flash

He gets a 1.5/5

**The Good***

- His running effect looks awesome.
- The wind like tornado he makes so the victim floats is very cool.

**The Bad**

- Everything else. Its such a weak horrible uncreative finisher. It's just Superman's special move.

Seriously, all of those (including Flash's which I really really dislike and it's one of the worst), are much better then almost ALL of the MKDA fatalities. Remember though? Kitana's kiss of Doom? Quan Chi's neck stretch? Kano's silly organ surgery? Nitara's blood suck? Drahmin's head slam?

Only a few such as Reptile's, Sonya's, Rayden's, Cage's, Scorpion's, Subby, etc. were good. The majority of the rest really sucked bad.



Most of MKD's were a great great improvement from MKDA and most rock.

Flash's is just very uncreative and stupid. It's just Superman's move.

It's official: Green Lantern is our Ermac. I just hope they dont spoil most of the fatalities with these FF's like they did with MKD

Heroic brutality? That doesn't make sense at all. The finishers themselves weren't too impressive either but wth.

Hmmm, I had forgotten to comment on the whole heroic thing.

I guess it doesn't really bother me, but, it does sound a bit weird.
