I think im just going to buy a xbox 360 elite.It did have the 4 red rings not 3 so I think its now defective.

i got the 360 as soon as it came out and I got DOA4 for it. I still have only played an xbox360 game once. I have been playing MKA on 360 since and it really is much harder to play on the 360. That sounds like a game issue or you were busted with a mod chip if you happen to have one and you tried to go live with it activated.
