I am not sure if this person is telling the truth or not however i did see on slashdot.org that a person has found a way to get Kitana, Drahmin, Kung Lao, Quan Chi, Monster, Jax, Nitara, Frost, Sonya, Jonny Cage, Onaga and Shang Tsung on the xbox version. Although it was by moding the game, which doesn't show that they were really meant to be unlocked.

On that site they posted pictures of the "unlocked characters" and provide a trainer that lets you "unlock them".

Unless it is officiallyt stated by MIDWAY it is hard to believe anything this guy says. Maybe we should all just be patient and allow the secrets to come themselves and not make any hasty conclusions. Come on now, the damn game has only been out for ten days. I'll wait for these unlockables to be tested and confirmed by MIDWAY.

No, we just think it's BS becuse you have nothing for proof except you can see Jonny Cage at 7-8. Maby if you gave a phone number or a screen shot we might consider believing you.

I believe there are SU's. I also have the Bradygames Guide, and while it is worthless and a waste of money, I have a feeling it will prove its worth in time.

There is a page within the guide called the Kombat Kodex. with certain character pics under each letter of the alphabet as well wass pics of the letter M, K, and D. Under those are 10 deifferent colored koins numbered 0 through 9. They flat out say that "Soon after the game's release, the Mortal Kombat Kreators and BradyGames will reveal all the Fatalities, Treasure Chest Loactions, Krypt Koffin contents, and the many other secrets in the game."

I do however feel that Bradygames should allow anyone who bought the original guide to be able to return it for the full guide aforementioned in this thread.
