they still have some popcorn meat appearing in fatalities, its nothin serious, its just kidna irritating seeing it
and theres the bouncy body parts they have in fatalities, the fatality where sindel falls off the tower is a perfect example, you see how her body parts [especially her head] just bounce once she explodes? and the animation FREEZES just like in mortal kombat 4, the hair on her head suddenly freezes up and dont move anymore as if she was a toy that got blown up by a fire cracker, as i said before, its NOTHING SERIOUS, just a lil annoying and looks very... dull, anyone else see things they dont like so far?

I think they could do Hotaru's fatality without the popcorn, It would look more real.

Besides my usual bitching of how the game isn't going to play worth a shit nor' be deep enough for a midget to stick his penis in...
I noticed the camera was often at an awkward angle, so move execution could be hampered. Like, you go for a FB motion, but end up jumping because the camera inverts or makes the "derection sense" seam un-natural. Again, that's just experience talking and I don't know if that could be an actual case regarding the design decisions that are made.
Also, you have these hugely exaggerated falls/transitions from tier to tier, yet the actual gameplay seams so...methodical. These huge falls and camera tracks seam a little out of place. Projectiles, movement, canned spam all seam...tame, when put side by side with the other. Obviously the tier to tier transitions are supposed to be hardcore and in your face, but the other seams so much more lacking in "enthusiasm."
Though, as a whole I'm fairly pleased with the asthetics and style that the Big D is pumping out.

I dont think it should be judged yet, we should wait for the final version. Im pretty sure they are taking care of all that stuff you mentioned as we speak. But you guys are right about that pop=corn thing, its just retarded

i hope that bouncy body part thign is fixed up in the final version too, if they are gonna take full advantage of the consoles, im sure they can make it a lil more realistic by making the body parts not so... seemingly toy-like
I love the way sindel falls off the roof, the loopings, the turns, the camera views and the increasing speed, but i don't kinda like the way she hits the floor, with the head and limbs bouncing. To be honest, a body exploding is quite a shocking thing to watch, but not in MK, where we have seen it a lot.
I think a good effect would be the body hitting the floor in a hard, sudden way, kinda like in mk2 bridge pit fatality, but with a lot more blood and chunks of meat and rock jumping everywhere and where we could crearly see the body making a hole in the ground. Then we could get a close shot on the face, covered with blood and the eyes wide open. :)

well, in a way of see it, yes....it ́s a bit cheap...but well..better than nothing !!!!!!
and yes, the fatality that sindel falls from the tower is HORRIBLE in my opinnion...(the way she explotes and the tower is like a piece of paper with a minimal sensation of 3D)...it ́s only my opinion
