That's not true, people that judge Midway based on two MK games is utterly retarded and closeminded. Midway has made nice, hot games like let's see here. Some people expect perfection from midway well, capcom did a great job with that didn't they since SF is dead now huh? Same could be said about RARE and KI. If I'm a fighting fan I'd be more disappointed in RARE and Capcom...

-Marble Madness

-Gauntlet

-Total Carnage

-Spy Hunter

-Pit Fighter

-Psi-Ops:The Mindgame Conspiracy:best game ever made using psychic powers, enough said. Hot engine and won award in 2004 for best in gaming mechanic, game engine introduced.

-Rampage-classic

-MK series duhhhh, what Midway is known for mainly

-MK2-just a great classic

-MK3-another classic

-UMK3-Best MK game gameplay wise, balance wise

-MK4, ok the amusing part is that this is "supposedly" the most hated MK game, yet I've heard more bitching on here about MKD and MKA then my ex boss on PMS..who bitched constantly.

-MK:SM:another hot mk adventure game

-MK:DA is a good game, very balanced compared to MKD and MKA and hardly any annoying glitches.

-MKD and MKA have their fanbase and are fun games but broken, wow so lets hate Midway cause of two games....

Wow...I am talking ONLY about MK.

Plus beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You love MK so much that you would play it no matter what. I am newer to gaming and to MK. But i have HIGH standards. They said things were going to be fixed and they made things worse in many ways.

Also better but still worse.

Fighting games are pointless online just as much as racing games to begin with. Lag destroys them. Only types of games that you can play lag-free are FPS. Although I heard Tekken 5: DR only has a pinch of lag here and there. So once I get a PS3 and DR it's bye-bye MKA!!!

Well, you said Midway. Midway isn't MK, they're just the company that makes it. My point was that Midway doesn't only make MK games that attract people. It's arguably one of their biggest games in video game history but they do make other good games. You should check out some of the games I listed man. Especially psi-ops, great 3rd person game that gives you absolute freedom with psi-powers.

That's just the thing, people shouldn't have "extremely high or perfect" standards. ANY game online WILL lag, I've been playing for 6 years now online enough to learn that. Even the mighty halo lags from time to time.

Yeah, sometimes fighters and racers lag online but it also expands the competition thus why it has a better and higher replay value.

Nobody wants to play the computer a million times, well at least I don't. Maybe other people do but I sure as hell don't lol.

MKA is the only mk game so far that doesn't play that great online, MKD played good and UMK3 plays great online.

I heard that MKF! On MKD I can easily fly through arcade mode on maximum difficulty with one character, lol. Ashrah, Jade, and Shujinko kill Onaga easily.

1. get the fuck away from that beast

2.crush one of those steroid rocks that onaga injects to keep strong (im talking about the komidogus for those who arte a little on the slow side)

3.walk up to that reptile's daddy wanna be bumb and give him the longest combo the character your using has

there are six steroid rocks i believe.should take like 2 steroids and a simple combo to kill him each round depending on the character.

IMO I felt MK2 was a bitch lol. Some people felt that MK:DA's moloch was annoying, he was tough at first but all you have to do is sidestep and attack and he's done, or you can turtle with shang and shoot fireballs at him all day lol. Fun and challenging

that game had to be nearly impossible. honestly now if mileena wasn't in like the 1st 5 characters to fight your done jus start the fucking game over and hope to god shes like the 1st character you fight. it took me lierarly 100 fights to even get to shao kahn, and i was only able to beat the game with baraka and my favorite in MK2....KUNG LAO! i love that dudes original MK2 costume and it will be really missed.

anyway....so yeah MK:SM version of MK2 is almost impossible. for those who never played it b4 go out, get MK:SM,put in the MK2 cheat code and prepare yourself for the most difficult MK game you will ever...ever......EVER PLAY

Midway has always been a poorly ran company and continues to be a poorly ran company and their various lawsuits filed against them right now compiled with their low avg per share in the stock market shows they are not getting anywhere fast nor slow but down

Almost every company now days has been "sued" at some point or another EA, RARE I've read some cases...it didn't stop them. Sony editing shit about the 360 on wiki...check it out there's a whole thread on that one in general... lol now Sony will definitely have a problem if not already...

I don't believe they're a poorly ran company, not saying the best, not saying the worst but usually poorly ran companies go out of business real fast, they don't exist for over 15 years. A few of the lawsuits are jokes on midway getting sued like the psi ops one for example, 3 years after the game came out someone tried suing them "claiming they had the idea" first...right. That's why they waited 3 years after the game actually came out. I've read about them. That was BS if you ask me just trying to get a "quick buck" the idea has existed well before that game and that dumb moron said "they had that idea" came up with the idea.

The stock one is a lot more important but I don't see any Midway in danger signs last time I looked. Stock goes up and down dude for a lot of companies, they survive it most of the time. I don't keep tabs on stock per-se but I do keep tabs on Midway games incorporation.

They'll be alright, besides how many companies actually have up to an 8th installment in a fighting franchise now days? You gotta give them props for that at least AND they're american...according to a lot of ignorant people "american games" are no good....tell that to the sales of MK and GTA over the years...

The games I listed are among Midway's best non the less, I'm not saying they're Nintendo most successful company ever or anything I'm just saying Midway isn't NEARLY as bad as some negative nancy's make it out to be.

You can sue for anything now days, even breathing on someone wrong...the question is what will you get out of it? In most cases nothing unless it's concrete.

I'm sure if Midway was in that much trouble then they would make a public announcement to everyone saying so.

Because they have a huge heavy lawsuit against them for Insider trading. I recommend you look up what insider trading is. Everyone now is selling selling selling and running far far away from this train wreck. How do I know? Well besides reading it on other websites that don't kiss Midway ass and suck some Boon cock, I 'm a part of the lawsuit because I bought Midway stock 2-3 years ago when it was at $8 based on estimated growth. Lets just say I bought a lot. Ok, so stock climbed to around $18 which was outstanding for me and decent for that company. Then all major stock holders sold instantly based on insider trading tip and they were discovered. How i don't know. Just look it up man. This company decline has been AWFUL

I'm not saying their stock is the best, not saying that at all I'm just saying the company isn't going anyway anytime soon. I'm well aware of the games coming out, which games they own, publish and such.

I've always followed Midway and I know their stock isn't near the best but the company is still one of america's best, well known video game companies in the video game industry. Most are japanese or european now there are a few american ones like Midway, Rockstar etc. As for the "midway ass kissing" on certain sites, if Midway was hit hard, really hard as in shutting down the MK sites would have no choice but to post it otherwise that's bad news for them lol.

Personally, I wouldn't buy any stock from any company since I've learned my 3rd and 4th year in high school all about economics and stocks that more times then not, you'll going to lose more then gain money.

It's like my senior year economics teacher used to say, "Investing in stock is like buying lotto tickets" most of the time you won't get anything unless you're lucky. I have to admit, that's a great comparison if you ask me.
