I used to use hotaru. he looks cool and i like the ground fireball special. but, i couldnt seem to get any good with him. knew all his combos and what not, but i always had bad luck with hotaru it seems like. i'd like to see a fight with someone whos good with him.

he's kool! i just don't like his flags in his attire so I used in MKD the seidan guardsmen attire!

i hated the flags too, thats why i never used him in mkd. but after seeing chronics of ridick. he reminded me of a necro monger. so i got used to flags and used him. he the shit with helmet on.

hotaru owns, good they gave him 2 more special in mka. grasshoper kick rocks!

He was my favorite in deception. I hoped he would've kept his Ba Shan Fan style, but that went to sareena.

I still like him but he's not top-tier in MKA. He's one of the more difficult characters to use.

The flags are cool!

hes not so hard to use. hes just not as fast as other characters. so you gotta wait untill a good time to strike.

Evaluating his 50/50 plant game, there is a high probability that he is one of the most useful characters of MKA. The overspin and the fire/retreat punch are priceless.

Pi Gua still kills. Bottom high-tier character, alot of safe moves, damaging and he is quite fast ... unlike some idiots who complained about slowness
without exploiting the obviously distance-based fighting engine.
