U know like in DOA3 it would be more realistic, if the stages in MK6 have danger areas where u could do a fatality from. It wouldn't make sense to do the fatality in the 1st round and then have the character come back alive.

Well, i think if the fatality is pulled off the match would be over.....

I agree, but the rounds should be pretty long to make up for the lack of multiple rounds.
Characters would have to do less damage.
The system in mkda is ok, but then it seems too pre set if you know what I mean.
I would like it better instead if they had cut scenes to split between rounds.
A variation on how they did it in MKDA, but make it look more like a movie. Close ups, and what not.
The stage fatalities in MKD seem more like Ring outs in VF, so If you look at it like that, it's not so bad.

I think it should be 1 round too but maybe you should have like 2 life bars instead. And if they dont have 1 round matchs then they should keep it how they did in Mk:Da when they got back up, it seemed cooler to me, a lot cooler then a black screen and then they r back into position, it just seemed more realistic. I do have a feeling thought that they wil do what i said and it will only be 1 round matchs with the whole death traps n stuff

I think I would like them to stick to the multiple rounds. It just feels right.

I think the 2 life bars idea could work.

I think that with best of 3 rounds there's a bit more luck involved. With 1 big round it will probably take you longer to fluke a win. Good or bad thing?

I like your idea of one long round, with the addition of death traps "activating" when one player is down to 1/2 of their life bar. That would draw the fight out some - of course it still means someone can lose via death trap while still at full health! (If I correctly understand how they work) I dunno - some might think of this as a unique twist to the game, others might think of it as cheap. This is a good topic, and an issue that should be explored further.

That would be a good idea of having 2 life bars, but not exactly having one on top of the other. I think the life bar should act like 2 rounds, the bar would change colors after you knock the opponent down to their 2nd life stem. I think all this together would make the rounds more realistic.
