i have PS2 so it might be different. you put in the gameshark disk in, get the cheat you want, then hit use cheat, it'll ask you to remove the gameshark disk and insert the game disk, wait for a while and hit continue and you play the game with the cheat. (did i say that right??? i havent used a gameshark for a while now)
but i think your better off without it. if you use the cheat on a game, it makes you a cheater. and if you beat the game with a cheat, it doesnt mean you "actually" beat the game. i use it only to have fun, but i think i lost it, oh well.

Weird. I thought Gameshark was some sort of Memory Card for PS2.
What disc do I have to use for MKD? Where can I get the codes?

I have the action replay for gamecube.... it has both a disk and memory card. Maybe there isn't a mem card for gameshark ps2.... or maybe there is.
Oh and if you do get one... please don't cheat on MK online (if you have that too).

I might get one too. just for fun with friends NOT online. I would never cheat online its just stupid.

i cant find my damn gs.. i want to be able to mess w/ the other characters that didnt make it in the final cutt, but are there any way.. especially kitana ofcourse..lol i dont think peopel would have a big problem if i played w/ kitana online.. gonna go look for that game shark..

personally i think you'd be better off with an ar max(action replay max), since the last tim i was in best buy they had ar max' for about $25 and gameshark's were $40, and aswell a long time ago i went to gaemshark's site and it filled the computer up with spyware (i am not saying it will do the same now, but that was my experience from one ad that popped up and i closed it but it still filled it up).
like i said in a previous thread, ar max (i dont prefer any other game cheater though) you just slip in the memory card in slot 2, put the disc in, load it up, go into expert mode, go into add new game, put in the master code, then go into that new game folder and hit add new code and add the code for the cheat, codejunkies.com has all the ar max cheats you need.
to a previous poster, it's not necarily that if you use a chea device you are forever a cheater, if you have beaten the game already it is just hacking the game for shits and giggles, or the game is extremely hard, and you play through once with codes, then try again without, it does'nt specify with cheating.
and aswell, other characters you can play as are: drahmin, sonya, jax, johnny cage, nitara, kitana, monster, onaga, and some others, and even setting into puzzle kombat you can play as them and other characters not set for puzzle kombat, like ashrah, hotaru, etc.

Sadly, there is no Max thing here, only gameshark, so I will probably have to get that in order to play.

plp who will use gameshark online are dam got fools....and plus i hate cheaters so theres nuthing new about that. but yet plp love cheating to be the best cause they got no skill. thats why cheaters usally get the better over plp because they have the uper hand.i think u shouldnt bother gettin a gameshark, unless u wanna be callled a cheater

after reading yer post about the ar max thing i went on code junkies.i went to the mortal kombat deception part, and read the codes. i didnt see anything about other characters...

Like I said:
1o I just want it to play with other characters such as Sonya and Johnny Cage, etc.
2o I don’t have online, and I wouldn’t cheat.
