This has been discussed before in a previous thread so search for it because it has lots of information. Scorpion is good. You can also try his 2,2,4,U+4 combo and keep repeating it. If he blocks, then sweep him to move him away a little bit. Sometimes Moloch will probably get to throw you but hopefully you'll be able to take more off him than he can off you :).

Use Hsu Hao and use his Sun Moon and do the stteing sun i think its called. Keep doin it and youll get an easy win.

sorry i dont know the correct buttons (as in numbers) so i'll just say the GC buttons wot i do is X,X then X,B,B,A then z then repeat that all the time without stopping.

The easy (i fiend) take scorpion or kenshi and take there sword wiht the counter speacial move thing or take reptile wiht the crabe style and go fast.

the easiest way i find is to pick jax and use the psiton punch alot like all the time

I find the best way is to either use raiden and hit him with the staff doyuble hit over and over or use reptile and use his lizard ball a lot and then either the hung gar double claw strike or lizard smash or crab reptilian rage combo

Any crazy sword movements, I think Shang Tsung has the best combo's so just tap buttons and press up and down, don't forget to block!

IN GENERAL:
Find a quick hitting/recovering string; ie, Raidens 1,1,2... Usually Moloch will attempt to attack after a string, that's where the ss, comes in. Simply do a quick string, ss, quick string, ss, etc. Done correctly you'll ss the move, even the thow, then just becomes a buffering game.

If he's being a tard and blocking then he ussually have frame advantage, so, oh well. Just mix up buffering the short strings after one another and the ss. Good luck to your friend...

that wont work on hard or max, trust me.

Moloch is pretty easy to beat, regardless of what character you use. I always go for mid/high hitting combo's, strike low (since he usually wont block), go for another combo (same, different, doesn't matter), strike low, etc.

always go for quick attacks: here is how i beat him:

Scorpion in Hapkido Triangle, Traingle, Square - repeatedly then block. I also mix-up with front thrust kicks.

Frost in dagger, her four hit combo repeatedly square x4. prepare to block after or if your quick enough, you can do the combo again.

Cage, Uses nuncuks like for frost above, or his jeet kune do combo triangle, triangle, x, x, o.
just be prepared to block his attacks after.

Sonya in Kali, use combo triangle, o, back+x. use block straght after.

hope you got the jist of it. Basically use quick attack combo's and just be prepared to block straight after, or if you're quick enough, repeat the combo. i'd only repeat it if it connects the first time, or even if the last hit in the combo connects.
just practice and your freinds should get it eventually.
