How do you think secret characters will play out in MK vs DC?

Will we even have any? Most likely, though the MK team better handle them with care ala MK1 and MK2.

I'd imagine there will be 1 to 2 for each franchise.

For MK....unlockable ones would be nice.

But I want to see brand new characters that you have to do something amazing to fight. Kinda like Noob in MK2, Rep in MK1, etc.

what would MK be without unlocking someone... They might only let us have 16 characters first. We probably might have to unlock the rest, like previous MKs.

If that's not the case, then one or two super unlockables would be nicegrin

Yea I was referring to secret characters in the super unlockable way. Eg. MK1 Reptile and MK2 Noob/Jade/Smoke

I'd like REAL unlockables... characters you have to work for. And I don't mean crazy shit like 500 flawless victories.

Kinda like what you had to do to get to Jade in MKII.
Maybe not that exactly.

Not some krypt crap where you buy them and that's the end of that.
That's way too easy and has no challenge to add replay value.

I hope it's not an old character, especially one of the hidden MKII trio. I'm done unlocking Noob or Jade.

It should be someone knew yet familiar, and yet still infinitely more interesting than Blaze.

If the fighting mechanics are actually good this time, that'll already add weeks of replay value. No need to drag out the replay value with unneeded and tiresome requirements to get a certain secret character.

Maybe a character from the MK comics would be suitable for this purpose.

I hope it's not too difficult. With the 360 you should get characters for certain achievements, like beating the game on a certain difficulty gives you an achievement a character

Id like a super secret character... that everyone gets their hopes up for.. only to find out that its a rendering of some asshole covered in balls who performed the fighting styles to be put in the computer... THAT is a fantastic idea!

Oh wait.. We already had that in MK...

BUT, what if for DC, they put a cape on him and added a "Super" Prefix to his name!

I vote for SUPER-MOKAP as DCs hidden character!

Meat-Blaze as a super unlockable. You know you want it.

Like some others have mentioned, 1 or maybe even 2 for each universe sounds about right.

As long as it's not something you can just buy... Earn it in a difficult, but not ridiculously hard way.

For the 360, I hope they don't put the achievements into unlocking characters....I never saw the point of those honestly lol

Just have it like past MK's or more like UMK3 with an MK Dragon hiding the MK "secret characters" while on the other side have a DC icon hiding the "secret DC characters"

I'd hope they'd go with 30 characters in total, instead of 22 or so but that's a good amoung I suppose. Not too many, not too little.
