Well, if you mean how does he come back as Dark Raiden, after he releases all his energy in his last desperate attack vs. the DK his energies reform in Earthrealm.

If you mean comes back alive to fight the DK with Shang and Quan, I guess he was just like K.O'ed or something.

Well, Raiden was overpowered and took his time to recharge while Tsung and Quan decided they put each others strenght to the test. He grew his powers back to stand up and fight again.

Shang Tsung was choked and knocked unconcious (I suppose after his Flame Cobra spell he was pretty exhausted. It took Raiden out cold in an instant). When he came back to his senses, he only had to channel as much magic onward the Dragon King. After the explosion, he died.

well they might hav to do a thing first to really kill him like a secert langlish or he might hav a round 2 resurect thing becose u kill a chariter round 2 they come back to life or maybe the chaicters only die of fatilys or maybe raiden was fooling them or raiden is just a bad ass that dosent die o well
