Ok, assuming the MKteam confirm that the pic released at ign.com is smoke, I think he looks horrible and unoriginal but that is my opinion.
I know not all of you check the fanart section but Jax007 made a concept of smoke long ago and eversince, I was hoping the MKteam to get his idea.

First, I want to say, you are a very talented artist, and I'm not knocking the drawing. But I hated the whole "Cyber" ninja thing, so making him half robot is just not my thing. I absolutely love Smoke's new look. It's my favorite look in any MK. And I'd be dissapointed if they changed it.

I love the picture. Even though I wanted him to be human I knew he wasn't going to be human again since MK3/UMK3/MKT.

If anything I think Jax007 should draw up a concept drawing of what Smoke should like being made of smoke.

Looks awesome, and the concept is nice as well. But still, I would like to steer Smoke away from being a cyborg. But the drawing looks great all the same. The Smoke vents are badass!.

No, I like the way he is now. The pic is nice, but it doesn't do that much for me. Im happy with the way he looks in MKD.

Not a bad pic at all. The only thing I don't like is the amount of vents all over him. The smoke comes out of him naturally, which is clear since he was 'smoking' since before he was a robot.
