I don't really concern about the girls in deception because I won't be fighting with girls online or offline.

hopefully they keep kitana in it and bring back frost and sareena...never hurts to keep sonya in it also, cant have to many females in the game

besides its always fun to do their fatalities...besides...i have a lot of friends that are girls that like using kitana and frost so besides that you cant have to many kombatants either

She wanted the orb too travel between realms in a click of time.Did you notice after she got the orb,she open a portal and send cyrax back to earth
in a nick of time.

Officialy there are 6 and 7 if you count Jade/Tanya's alt. outfit.

I think that's fair cosidering I noticed a step up with girls in every MK game since the main roster gets bigger.

MK1- 1
MK2- 2
MK3- 3
UMK3- 6
MK4- 2(Step into 3-D, starting all over again)
MK4G- 4
MKDA- 5
MKD- 6(As of now)

Like I said, with each game increasing the roster, so do the females. Some might even say it matches the number of what MK it is. So maybe 6 is all we will see, or it could be the next UMK3 where the number of females is not judged by the number of the game.

I hope there are a fair few girls in MK:D. They are always my favourites...they have the best look, best moves and best fatalities in my opinion. Mileena and Tanya are gonna kick ass in this game, i can feel it! Also, in fighting games these days, the number of female characters is begining to rival the number of male characters...Soul Calibur 2 has alot of female characters, so maybe MK:D wants to rival this? Besides, what would Street Fighter be without Chun-Li, and SC without Ivy, DoA without Kasumi...the women rule, so the more the merrier! lol

The less females the better in my opinion. As a dude in rl I don't ever feel compelled to play as them. Honestly, there could be "0" little chickies in MK:D for all I care, and I really wouldn't loose any sleep over it.

But hey, that's just me baby.

I think you mean Khameleon since Chameleon is male.

Anyway, I see that there's a lot of confusion over some things.

At this point, it's really tough to tell whether that woman in the green is either Jade or Tanya. Both of them are supposed to be in this game so it might be Jade. Personally, I think it's kind of stupid if they made a Jade-ish Tanya.

As for Sonya being killed in MK: DA by Kano, can you really be sure that ending happened? I certainly can't though I will say that ending most likely didn't happen. The only endings in MK: DA that I can be sure of that occured in the storyline are Nitara's, Cyrax's, Reptile's, Jax's, maybe Raiden's, and perhaps a few others such as Sonya's, Mavado's, Frost's, Sub-Zero's, etc.

Nitara and Kitana might not be playable in this game. It's kind of hard to tell really. Perhaps they'll be unlockable.

Anyway, I think there should be a few more female characters in MKD such as Frost, Sareena, and Sonya.
