Rayrokka said that Sub-Zero sacrificed his youth in order to wield the power of the Dragon Medallion. If you don't believe me, PM him.

Also I don't like that fact that we can see Scorpion arms when he fight. If his face his a skull why does his arm are covered with skins?

If he could wear long hemline, it would be a bit more realistic and it would give him a new look as well

They should not be in MK6. Atleast not as playable characters.

I liked both of Scorp's and Sub's costumes from MK5. I think they should be a little less buff this go round though.

I kinda have to disagree with you on that, even though I respect what you have to say, I say these legends, scorpion and subzero respectively, have to look way different, kinda like they should be way more advanced looking since were in the new millenium now.

Are you insane? Do you not remember what happened when they left Scorpion out of MK3?

You can be certain if they left those two key characters out of MK6 as playables that the whole hub-bub people made out of there being no pits or multiple fatalities in Deadly Alliance would pale in comparison to the uproar that removing those two would cause....

Anyhow, on to my opinion on how they should look in MK6. wink

Contrary to what everyone else is saying...

I would like to see Scorpion look more Human in at least one costume. Drop the heavy Yellow/Gold look too. Change is good.

No mask at all, just a regular human head, maybe give him eyes that give off a flickering flame or something, but nothing else out of the way or supernatural.

Heck, give him the really cool black outfit he had on the Mortal Kombat Conquest Tv show with the yellow scorpion on the back!

Maybe add in the kanji/symbol that he had in the cinematic teaser for MKDA on the front of his uniform too.

Hmmm, well now that I'm thinking about it, maybe give him an alternate outfit where he has the human face with no mask...but part of it is battle scarred and instead of meat and muscle beneath, we get to see exposed skull! Add in a torn up costume and voila!
Gory and neat looking at the same time!

Or maybe that'd be best left as a suprise for "battle damage" this time around on him. smile

He could even have a ragged and torn outfit that was smoldering with spots of flame for those whom rather his undead look...though I felt his skull outfit wasn't "evil" enough in MKDA. The original MK movie gave his skull appearance that proper "evil" look to me.

That's my take on Scorpion, now on to Sub-Zero.

I liked the aged Sub-Zero look.

Lots of folks didn't, but I did like it as it made him look different and thats something I hope keeps up as a trend in the MK games...that they change in not only in-game mechanics but appearance too.

For an example, I think Liu Kang had those red and black pants for far too long before they axed him off. grin

Maybe a bluish-white Gi outfit with a thin layer of visible ice on it this time for Sub-Zero? Something befitting a warrior of his rank and status as leader of the Lin Kuei.

The only way I could see him regaining his youthful looks would be in a possible story arc between himself and Sareena.
Maybe a bit of demonic sorcery by her to restore his youthful appearance as a 'reward' or 'favour' for his former brother's attempt to help her in the Mythologies story? *shrug*

I don't really care for the "Armoured" Ninja Masks they have been using since MK2 though...I preferred the traditional look of MK1 'cloth' masks instead. That's something that I'd suggest them to change. smile

Wait, I like Scorp and Sub but MK3 did not suck without them. Like companies don't like to get dependent on technology and us smarter programmers don't want to get dependant on a platform, MK can't be depending on Scorp and Sub being in the game to sell. What does that tell you?
As for their designs I think it depends on the look of the game. Personally I thought DA was way to bright and sunny and I want MK6 to be doomsday dark! With that costumes should reflect. Be less neon pallet swap colors and more earth toned, simple costumes. Back to the basics.

I would like a more old style costume, like MK1. But have another costume along the lines of MKDA.

The best of both worlds.

Good idea Bleed. I'd like to see different costumes/looks from other MK games along with a couple of new ones. How does that sound? wink

maybe they could have a new looking Scorp and Sub in MK6, but have their original looks be unlockable in the Krypt, if there is one. Or make the original (or simpler) costumes be alterante.
