I liked him when he use to look like Bruce Lee but he still was a pretty sucky fighter in the game even then. After that look changed though it was down hill from there.
I guess it wouldn't really matter to me if he came back..............as long as it is not like Jonny Cage's; 'cause that would be like having two Jonny Cages in one game (not good). But thinking of it... imagining Kano huge muscular physic of MK:DA with long black hair covering his head leaving only one eye visible (the red eye) looks evil and cool. It would be like the undertaker is in the game or something.
