LOL, Scorpion can be swayed either way. It depends on the character.

My ten favorites are:

Obviously, those ruthless villians Quan Chi and Noob Saibot won't go good.

If Kitana and Sonya went bad, I'd love it. I like deceptive females in video games. I like bad girls. I loved Tanya in MK4 because of her deceptive ways. I'd dig it.

However, Sub-Zero would be very dissapointing.. To me, he's Mortal Kombat's Super Man; he's uber powerful, and though not a God, he has God-like powers; Sub-Zero should be the new hero now that Liu Kang's (Un)dead. I hope that he isn't the deceiver.

It's funny, when I was reading your post, Scorpion was always my first thought.

If Scorpion were to become good and/or bad instead of his primary neutral stance, I would actually welcome it. There is no character that needs a new story arc more than our beloved yellow spectre... It's time he chose a side and found a new agenda.

If he were to cross the line into good it would be likely we would see an alliance with Sub-Zero. It was a glimmer in the fans' eyes when the endings hinted at this in Mortal Kombat 4, it almost seems likely in games to come...

If Scorpion were to allow rage and revenge fuel the fire moreso than usual, we could see an evil spectre. It almost sounds redundant, doesn't it? Killing off Earthream warriors in return for another chance at Quan Chi? It sounds slightly reminiscent of old stories. I think it's less likely than the opposed.

Anyway, I'd like to see some changes in stance and demeanor. Something much less obvious than the beloved "Unit LK-242"...wouldn't someone agree?

Scorpion is one of my favorites and I wouldn't mind if his neutral status changed. The most obvious reason is that he needs a new story, he can't just go around with the neutral status forever, he needs to finally choose a side good/evil.

Whether his status changes or not, even if it is something I wouldn't expect, I think it would be interesting to see how his story plays out either way.

I'd love to see fighters turning side! I think Liu Kang will (a lot of us do), And also Li Mei could be a fighter for the evil allignment (I know, beat MKDA with her and the sorcerers win, Li Mei's allignment was good although).

My fav char is Baraka, I don't ever see hem fight for earth. I don't like that idea either

Liu Kang is dead... how will he change sides? As for the characters changing alignments. I'm all for it if theres a good reason for the change. I'm pretty sure most Scorpion fan's are sick of the revenge all the time thing. I know I'm pretty tired of it. As for Ermac... he could go either way and I'm excited to find out what they will do with his storyline.

I'd be pissed if Raiden became evil! If he were neutral I'd be fine. He could have so much fun as a neutral god. the MK storyline could turn into his own little game then. But having him turn evil would seriously annoy me. I'd still like him. If they did make him evil, they'd have to have a really good reason to do.

If Sub-Zero was going to change allignment I would...hmm....i dunno. But I still want him to be a good guy.

I would like sub-zero to become evil again. Maybe in MK7, but not now.

ERMAC will always be my favorite even if he is evil, good, or neutral... I think that Alignment doesn't change anything to my favorites character which are Ermac & Nitara.... but for some reason I think that Hotaru, Mileena, and may be Tanya may become one of my favorites...hhhmmm??? maybe I am one of those people who always goes for the under-dogs!! Anyway back on topic, I don't think it changes anything to me but this is just my opinion though...

Scorpian: remains neutral to kill Quan Chi (if in game)

Sub-Zero: Stays good

Liu Kang: Turns evil, he might be ressurected to work for DK

Ermac: Turn Evil to kill Kenshi

Tanya: Evil

How I'd feel if my favorite characters switched sides:

Scorpion- Wouldn't mind, he could probably do well good or evil. And it'd be nice to see him have relevence to the story again.

Kitana- I'd be kind of disappointed because what I like about her charcater is that she was evil but turned good. To switch back would seem weird.

Noob Saibot- Noob good? That'd be pretty interesting to see.

Quan Chi- ....I don't think this would work. I'd be disappointed.

Reiko- What side was he even on?

Sareena- If she turned evil, I'd be disappointed because I think she has more potential as a good character.

Sektor- Disappointed. First Smoke, then Cyrax. Sektor should stay the "bad cyborg."

Kabal- I think Kabal turning evil'd be pretty sweet as long as they don't turn him into another Kano.

Raiden- I think this'd be cool.

Mileena- I could see Mileena turn good. Not a total 180, but still.


EDIT: Forgot to say, regardless of which side they are on, I doubt they'd stop being my favorites.

Well, if Li Mei (my fav) were to be evil in Deception I would actually be kind of annoyed. It wouldn't change the fact that she'd still be my favorite but It'd just be kind of dumb.

Raiden can not nor should not become evil...He's been then the leader of the good guys for too long. It's like asking Shao Kahn to become one of the good guys.

As for him becoming nuetral....maybe but with hesitation. I can see him getting tired of the treatment his realm receives from the Elder Gods and start doing things he normally would not do when he has the 'good' alignment. But I just can't see him just chucking it all after all he has done for Earth and his mortal friends. Then again he could start becoming tired of that as well as basically telling Fujin the job is his now. Then he goes off and does his own thing.

It wouldn't really bother me. I prefer bad guys/evil characters and demons but, some of my favorites are good guys. It's more or less their style/personality that win me over not which side they're on.

if raiden turns evil then odds are fujin will be in the game. either that or Ashrah or Nightwolf will become the Raiden figure. Hey wait, what if Raiden died?

well Ashrah is a demon huntress, which brings her closer to Raiden then a lot of other characters

I would love it if it turned out that Kung Lao was the TRUES Deception in Mortal kombat. I always had the idea of he turning evil. It makes since. WHat if it turned out that it was he who turned Liu Kang into the bare hands of Quan CHi and Shang Tsung? He was tired and jealous of Liu Kang always being recognized as the Mortal Kombat champion, he grw a hate for him. Therefore he tricked Liu Kang and got him killed, so he could be the new champion. That'd be so awesome. Kung Lao has always been my fav.

Sub was recently updated with the scar. Therefore, it can be none other than the younger Subzero.

BTW, if a mod would close this thread, I would strongly appreciate it.

I'd be happy either way. As long as Nightwolf's story is interesting and involves other characters I'll be happy
