Don't get me wrong, I like Kang. It's just that I consider it a really cheap and sleazy stunt to bring him back after they made a point of killing him off. My only major MKD complaint so far.

Yeah, sure, go ahead and say you don't want him back. Soon you will be on this forum saying "oh, oh, how do I unlock Liu Kang?" it may very well turn out for liu to be the best character to play as in deception, he was intented to be the best fighter in the world but all those times it was either sub-zero or scorpion, sub-zero or scorpion who were the best to play as. I feel liu will be the FAST character in deception, considering they made reptile the fast one in mk1 and liu kang has been known for his incredible lightning fast speed.

The Kangster is back and he has a new style, fuck with the kangster and I'll put you in a pile. so dont come near me just jump the fuck back, give up the pride and cut the kangster some slack. some people may call him the turkey boy, but at least he doesn't wack off with a stale chips-a-hoy. I dont know why you hate the turkey man, maybe it's because he wooped your ass and hit you upside the head with a mountain dew can. PEACE!!

I haven't seen any statement confirming that he is a playable character. Don't get your hopes up.

I don't know what everyone's problem is with it, either.

I think its one of the best ideas ever. Nothing is cooler than A Liu Kang zombie, don't care what anyone says. They shouldn't ever kill off any character permanently, I don't play with Liu Kang much but he has always been one of the best. I want Kang to be evil in this game, maybe be the sub-boss under the control of the Dragon King as a zombie, that would be awesome.

If your going to kill off a character, kill off Mavado, worst character ever in MK by far. And don't bring him back as a zombie.
The game is titled "Mortal Kombat" for a reason. If you have nothing but ninjas with super-natural powers, you don't have Mortals. Although I love scorpion, ermac, sub, and more, It needs more humans. Johnny Cage should be back, too.

In every iteration of MK Liu was in, he was practically unchanged. He just got boring to me. So that's why I was pleased when they killed him off, for once he didn't "win".
But, if you're going to kill somebody and bring them back, you'd of thought they'd at least leave him out for a little bit.
So, I personally am not thrilled to see him.

As for Mavado, the only thing he brought new to the table were "stretchy arms" which IMO is the lamest thing i've ever seen. The sound effect that came with them was retarted too. Just my opinion. Oh, and his weapon was't new.

Well yeah, I hope they change Liu for the better, but still, it's gonna have to be pretty drastic. The zombie idea is a start, heh.

Mavado did bring something else new, though. The Red Dragon, who have caused havoc with the special forces, allied themselves to the deadly alliance, have been sword enemies with Kano and the black dragon, which is a fair bit more than "The chosen one won the tournament and returned to his home on earth... *snores*".

I am very pleased that Kang is back. But I'm still not sure if he will be good or evil. I liked him in all previous MK's - I loved his speed and uppercuts. But the way they killed him in MKDA was good, in the intro FMV - cus MK needed to leave him out for a game. And I agree that maybe they should have left him out of MKD as well, cus a one game abscence seems a little cheesy. But maybe earthrealm need him for the new threat of the Dragon King. It's possible Raiden has to resurrect all of Earth's former Mortal Kombat champions (then Great Kung Lao will return also!) to defeat this new threat. I don't know, but I'm still glad that the turkey boy has returned!

I'm not happy to see Liu Kang returning either but as long as they make him interesting I don't really have a problem with it... That is if they leave out his turkey mating calls.

I hate Liu Kang. Bringing back from the dead is a stupid idea in my opion. He was a cheap character.

Everyone knows lui kang is the mortal kombat champion and there is know way he can stay dead.I'm already thinking of that peddle kick.

Bring back: Mavado, i loved his long fist fighting style and he had that awseome dark look to him i dont see why no one liked him.
Dont bring back: Lui kang, hes awsome, but he kept on being the hero ell then time and he barely changed since MK2

I doubt it he will be back just for the konquest part, magazines would probably talk about kombatants in the kombat mode instead of konquest mode. Yes he will return as a ghost and zombie, I have no problem with that.

I'm just really really sick of seeing characters get killed and brought back to life, Twisted. Even so, I can deal with bios and endings that say 'yadadada thought dead, but cmes back thanks to..." But when you make a CG cinema partially devoted to the fall of a legend?

Liu Kang was a character designed to that people who were new to the game would have a hope of winning. He had easy moves, easy combos, easy fatalities, and annoying moves as well as an annoying voice.

In other words, he was a cheap character.

I liked Liu Kang in every MK he was in but if he was dead he should stay dead.
