Personaly if you ask me..Hotaru looks like one of those acient vampire guys with the armor..Ive seen alot of guys with that kind of look in a few animes..dunno thas jus my input..but as far as red dragon and blaze go..I doubt it..who knows he might be some neutral party who just got involved.. AND KEEP IN MIND IN RAIDENS ENDING!!..it stated there was a new era of vampires arising and alot of new challenges ahead, not to mention nitara is also a vampire so this is a posibility..So in my opinion he is a vampire..white hair, red eyes, pale skin and dark armor..thas definately a given..

Your guess is as good as anyone elses. It would be cool if he was a vampire. I'm surprised not much emphasis has been placed on him though. We've only seen one opicture. It seems like he is unimportant almost, or they don't want us to know too much about him!

I think you could be right. According to a few people on this board with sources (can't remember names right now) There is supposed to be a new vampire, so this is very possible that it is Hotaru. They mentioned a new Shokan as well but I guess we won't know for sure until more info comes out.

Speaking of raidens ending did you notice the ppl it showed in the sky? there were four. The first two starting from the left were moloch, the one on the end was nitara. But what about the one in the middle? It looked like an oni, and from the concept sketch i found in the krypt it looks like baphomet. Maybe they will have a game where they have oni as the main enemy. I would like to see a game where good and evil have to team up to take down something else
