¿I Didnt Pick That Character, Or Did I...?

Any ever noticed or done this? Anyways, in practice mode at the character select screen, if you pick Scorpion as your character and then hold up and press A on Sub-Zero for the second player/dummy, that it takes awhile to pick Sub-Zero...
However the weird part is when you start your practice game, you are not Scorpion anymore, you are a random character...
Now all you weird SU seekers know this is the way to get Kung Lao/Rain/Sheeva/Shao Kahn/George Foreman right...
Anyways, disregad the SU comment, but try the practice thing, some kind of glitch, no...

it's the random select feature - it can be done in kombat mode and versus mode too - press up and start on scorpion (for player 1) or subby (for player 2) and you get a random character instead - they've done it for all the previous mk games too - not a glitch

No, I know about random select, however...
Go to practice mode, then just pick Scorpion regurly by pressing A or start, THEN...
For your training dummy highlight Sub-Zero, THEN hold up and press A...
The game takes awhile to pick Sub-Zero but it does, HOWEVER...
When you start your match, you are no longer Scorpion, EVEN THOUGH you picked him originally...
Disclaimer: This Is Done On XBox, Not Too Sure If This GLITCH Works For PS2...

this has happened to me before too. Its pretty weird. Has nothing to do w/ith SU's since there are none in the game except for George,but I did that once and I was like 'wtf'. Its basically a glitch because instead of randomly selecting your opponent, it reselects your character randomly.

at first i thought were talking about some thing else. couple days ago i was playing with a friend and a lot of the time id pick a char like Ermac and then for a few secs it would show as if i selected Scorpion then change back.....

I cant do it. I heard that the PAL had some glitches fixed tho.
