yup thats right eb has a realease date they said its some time next yr and they said if we get the collectors edition it will automatically change to that so it doesnt look like well be getting the normal version just the collectors edition (if it happens)

in other words we dont have a choice of either one if we get the collectors edition thats wat ever1 gets if we dont then we just get the normal version, i personally hope for the collectors edition, which he thinks will get (btw im aussie and pre-ordered it at a aussie eb store)

That's great news well sort of. Anyway I had MKD pre-ordered but I withdrew it when I heard the news of the collectors edition. I'll pre-order it again soon. I really hope we get the collectors edition but I have my doubts. I wonder about the controllers too.

unfortunatly thats what eb said i hope their wrong cus they just got the date so it could change but this thread was really just letting all aussies know that mk6 was available for
pre-order

and to xalibar i dont know i think u might be able to if u dont pre-order

I have been contacting several of the major Video game suppliers in Australia to find out the release date of MKD.

EBgames, Games Wizards, GamesMarket, Xbox.com.au, dstore, gamesuniverse & gamehead are the ones i have contacted or looked at their release schedule for both xbox & ps2.

Not one of them have it on there release schedule. This totally sucks.

An exact quote from GamesMarket is

As of this moment, we do not have any information for Mortal Kombat Deception, including the local release date. The game itself is not yet on the distributor listing. We will be putting up more information on the website should more information of the game becomes available.

USD$59.99 for Kollectors edition, then add USD$29 for shipping to Australia.

It comes to AUD$125 and then there are additional costs for taxes & duty.

And it's NTSC version anyhow which is useless without a MODchip which i might add are illegal in PS2, and XboxLive cannot use them.

I didn't say you couldn't pre-order it.
But they don't have a date for release yet.

Did they give you a release date?
I thought your post says sometime next year?
