I'm not saying this kid is telling the truth, nor am I saying hes lying, but I get games early ALL the time. Shit, I have Outrun 2 retail right now and it's got a November release date. I also have Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude right now. It's called the internet and a modded Xbox.
Unfortunately, Mortal Kombat: Deception hasn't been leaked onto the net yet, but I would NOT be surprised if one store somewhere let the game slip early, it happens all the freaking time.
I don't know if he's telling the truth or not, but I am more inclined to believe him than not. If you were into the scene like I am, you would understand.
I expect to get it tomorrow or so. I'm surprised it hasn't been leaked already considering it went gold nine days ago. And when I get it, do you think I am going to spend one second on here trying to convince you that I have it? I could care less.

I don't believe him. Not because of the sheer fact that this whole story is far-fetched, but the ending he gave for Scorp completely contradicts the one I heard leaked some time ago. He may be telling the truth and some things have changed, but I doubt it.
