I have a Question about MKA on XBOX

Absolutely, Nest!
It's backwards compatible with 360. I prefer playing MKA on 360 because the graphics is a hell lot better than on the original XBOX.

From what I hear, it blows dick to play MKA on the 360 controller. Of course, when I first started playing PS2, I was jumping all over the place and other crazy stuff just cuz I wasn't used to the controller. So it may just be that way with any new controller.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I don't have trouble with PS2 anymore really. I still prefer the S-Type by a LONG shot; but PS2 is still good. Quest has complained about the 360 controller forever, so I should have known it wasn't just something people weren't used to.

The 360 is fine to play MKA on, just get a madcatz controller and you wont have nearly the jump issues. I use a madcatz when I play. http://www.madcatz.com/Default.asp?Page=252&CategoryImg;=Xbox_360_Controllers

No the ps2 is easier than 360!
360 is more sensitive so you jump every time you push back.

They both suck...the original xbox japanese controller(the ones that you most likely played on in MKD) was the best, actually I'd prefer a SNES controller any day over anything out now personally.

@MKF
Do you mean the original Big Black Bulky One? haha
If so, for real that is no doubt my favorite controller ever and I wish I could use it on the 360, I still have 4 of them just so I would make sure I would always have at least one. I thought I would be able to use it on a new system if and when they came out with one. Well, they came out with one and I can't use my favorite controller

You guys like the big bulky? Hmmm... It's alright but it's a little too big for me. Honestly, the biggest problem I have with it is the fact that the white/black buttons are on top instead of bottom. Haha.
I love the S-Type. It's just about perfect. PS2 is good, but I like the trigger design of the S-Type better than the 4 top buttons of PS2. It grips very well with three fingers and your index fingers aren't "stretched" up like on PS2. Also, I find that the analogs on PS2 are in a very awkward position. I constantly hit them while using the D-Pad and I feel like I have to "stretch" my thumb a little when playing a game that uses the analogs. Just not quite as comfortable.

I've actually gotten used to 360 controllers. At first, it was a nightmare o work out but over time you kinda get use to it. But I would say PS2 controllers are better overall.
I may still invest in a madcatz controller though!

Yeah, NEST dude hope we helped you out man. And btw just in case you're curious man, MKD is also backwards compatible
Yeah, dude if you're referring to the one at the time of MKD's release that was popular yes. The japanese version of the xbox one controller was awesome IMO, not the original american made big, bulky ones the smaller versions.
The d-pad was also much, much better on that one compared to the PS 2 one and 360 by far if you ask me personally.
But yeah, my all time fav is no doubt the SNES d-pad

so are you sayings its really REALLY good to play MKA on Xbox? From what I hear, it blows dick to play MKA on the 360 controller. Yeah wiidoshi there's converters out there for all systems I believe.
That link will help that dan posted.
FTR, the 360 controller DOES suck for ANY fighter period...
I'm not too fond of PS2 ones either....
I wish I could convert the SNES controller for any system, all I would need and I'd never fuck on as far as D-pad, moves are concerned. Still the best D-pad IMO out of any system out there so far.

Are you sure it wasn't your PS2 controller, because you can't slide on the D-pad and accidentally jump like you can on 360 and Xbox

Yeah, I'm sure. It didn't last that long. Maybe a couple of days. The jumping around part isn't what screwed me up most of the time. Many times, when I would back-dash and then walk up or down is when I would screw up because there's no "diagonal" to the PS2 controller so I had to get used to lifting my thumb to move around. I basically have to use the D-Pad with my left hand the same way I use the normal buttons with my right hand. When I'm using the S-Type, I more or less just have to "tilt" my thumb (if that makes sense) to use the D-Pad. That makes some things difficult for me on PS2. For example, I still can't consitently do Ermac's Tele-Slam.
Not a big deal, though.

o yeah ok thanks guys!!

Yeah, everyone is different and has different preferences apparently.
Some like Xbox 1 control, others PS2, others the 360 and some oldschool Nintendo ones like me.
