I LOVE this level: Good and Evil, Light and Dark...LIFE and DEATH!
I think this might be one of my favorite levels of all time!!! Think how awesome it would look:
First you are fighting in a happy scenario (picture cute bunnies and happy songs *shudders*), but then, you find yourself located in a dark realm full of danger, blood and death!!!
Ying and Yang, the totally opposite: Positive and Negative, Day and Night, Good and Evil, Light and Dark, Life and Death its just awesome!
I wonder what dangers this level will include. I have a picture of it in my head, looking almost apocalyptic.
And while we are on the topic of Levels, the death traps sound AWESOME. I'm looking forward for the spider, bugs (the mummy anyone?) that eat you up and the one described in that fire arena, were your half melted dead body is destroyed when something squishes you.
I also have to say I want the WARRIOR SHRINE back. Its one of my favorite levels and my FAVORITE in Mk1. I loved the detail and looks of it. Imagine it in 3D, with the main heroes and bad guys in it. I think it should definitely return looking older, more ANCIENT with the statues more broken and destroyed to honor the greatest warriors:
Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, Rayden, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kano and Goro.

Yeah i really love the idea of this level too. Pitting two sides against each other ON a level that is against its own sides. It's gonna be awesome. I just wonder what will be the determining factor to make it shift...

I really like the idea of the level too.

Mabey you could fight right near a portal between two realms.
When you knock your opponent through the portal you would both come out in two whole different atmosheres of the same level.
It would be cool for a "death trap" if you get hit into a portal that makes you travel to a whole different realm that is inhabited by huge meat eating creatures.

Awesome!!!! I like that idea of the portal! This arena looks fun!

The level reminds me of the second to last boss fight in the new Ninja Gaiden. Ryu falls into a medow of flowers, then a demon turns it all into hell. I think this might work very well.

I have my doubts about it. I'll have to see it before I can pass judgement. It kinda reminds me of the Silent Hill games, esp. Silent Hill 3. There you actually witness your enviroment changing into the "nightmare world" before your eyes. It would be cool if the same phenomenon existed in this Yin-Yang level. Esp. if it changed back and forth, like a cycle. Like say there was a big tree that had leaves while in the Yin half, but it would wither and die when the Yang half came around. And on and on and on...

I like the idea of the Yin/Yang level but I jus want to know as well how it will change.
I think of it something like the beach setting or wutever Boon said for the good said and while your fighting, someone casts a spell or sumthin and the platform your on kinda rotates while your still fighting and then your on the evil side.
Maybe kinda like that but that idea is kinda lame...

Here's my take on how the level should work. if there really is a beach arena:
The good side:
You fight by the beach, and nice sunset setting, with seagulls and the mountains in the distance look beautiful. There is a ship sailing in the distance. All is well.
The bad side:
It's stormy. The sun has disappeared. Waves are high, there's rain and lightning and furious winds. The ship in the distance is on fire! And for the heck of it, something is swimming in the waters closeby. Something big. Any opponent that gets thrown into the water is eaten by the Lung Hai sea beast!
The good side:

OH man I really like that idea:)
But i think it would be Kool if they made so the stage is is either dark or light and not both, but if it's the other way around i wont complain:)

This idea is EXCELLENT! I can very easily picture this type of level and very well fitting into the setup of the game's yin/yang description. We'll see eventually, but WOW that is a great idea.

I wonder how that level will flow form good to evil. I hope they wont do it to fast so that one second its good en the next second its evil. But I want to see the level change slowly when time passes by. I imagine it like this:
Youre fighting on this beautiful beach and after some time it gets a bit darker, some rain clouds appear. Then it begins to rain, thunder and lightning. Now its dark, the sea in the background gets wild with heavy waves. Then there is a light in the sky witch soon turns into a huge portal. The environment around you changes trees die (if there are any), everything begins to burn and death traps appear. Sort of merging the two realms (Outworld an Earth) together. It must not go too slow, all this can happen in a time period of 30 seconds during the first round.

I like your ideas, but I actually hope the change is violent, just fast but not THAT fast like a flash. Just quick enough to shock us.

Hmmm....I think it would make sence to shift from good to bad when in a two round fight an evil player wins the first round. Or vice versu from good. Yin over Yang struggles or good versus evil.

Yes, I want the warrior shrine too! I would love to see the statues brake and all, maybe even reveal secret characters!
