If you don't think DC is "dark" and "gritty" enough, you should read some more recent Batman comics. God, I'm so sick of everybody thinking that DC is a bunch of pansy, do-gooder superheroes whose stories are only fit for 10 year olds. Don't judge what you don't know anything about. Also, DC has decades more of character development and backstory, something which MK barely manages to keep consistent over the course of a few games, and what they have is hardly exceptional. DC is obviously the superior franchise. MK is a shrimp compared to a blue whale in this arena.

I have to admit, I wasn't overly angry about about the announcement. Annoyed that I was hyped up for MK8 and its not to be for a little while, but it'll be interesting to see how the fighting engine has come along since Armageddon.

As far as the two universes "going together" you can argue that it goes together about as well as Marvel and Capcom really. Its just time to find out on whether or not its a good game or not.

LOL. DC is seventy years plus old and MK is what? 16? I'm an mk fan since 92 but come on people, MK is not above DC XD, lets not get delusional here! Also mk and dc goes together better than marvel and capcom.
