that sub zero sucks...he seems to be oriental when in mk3,mk4,mkda,mk deception and armageddon he seems to be caucasian white;he have no scar on the face,he have recycled animations and an attire very similar to shaolin onks appearance(same as for scorpion).
so i think that they just forget about subby's particulars

Yeah the bad one AKA noob is cool never liked the good guy that much I hope its him like maybe the curse was lifted of him or something it would be so cool to see subby as a bad guy hes not to good as a GOOD guy.

two possibilities:
1. This game is from the Shaolin Monks era (MK1-MK2) so he didn't find the dragon medallion yet.

2. Frost took it and she'll be a formidable character in MKvsDC. Yeah boiiy!
(this one is wishful thinking, but who knows, everything pretty much hit the fan anyways)

Maybe he figured fighting Batman with it would be too one-sided.

Maybe it's been retconned out of existence.

Possible, but remember we don't know when this takes place in the MK storyline. This could happen between MK3 and MK4 for all we know.
