I think a shadow priest would be a great sub boss for MKD

For those that watched the final episode of "Mortal Kombat Konquest", the television series, remember how you saw Kahn's shadow priests fight for the first time? They were unstoppable. Not a single fighter could lay a scratch on them - not even the champion of light, kung Lao, or the mighty sorcerer, Shang Tsung. So I think the shadow priests are much more powerful than they let on to be. My idea is that one of Shao Kahn's elite shadow priests becomes the sub boss of MKD. It would make sense since boon said the sub boss would be playable and a shadow priest would fit right in with this idea. The playable version of the shadow priest would be toned down and weakened and in the sub boss fight, he receives a massive powerup. Even though Kahn is supposedly dead, it doesn't mean the shadow priests are out of the picture. It's about time we see what one of these elite, cloaked enigmas are capable of.

Good idea, but they are only that powerful according to the Conquest series, and a lot of things that happened in conquest contradicted the games, so maybe the Shadow Priests aren't as powerful as made out.

Great idea!

The Shadow Priests remind me of the Dementors from Harry Potter slightly. Seeing one fightig would be great, especially if they hover above the ground instead of walking. I don't think they're as powerful as Konquest made them out to be. But they will have powerful magic attacks that will make Shang and Quan look a little amateuristic.

yeah; or have 3 bosses in all for a difference (a lot of games do or have even more) or have a half-way boss, then a sub boss, then the main boss!!!

That would be cool. But I don't see how that's possible considering that they are loyal to No one but Kahn.

I think having the Shadow Priests in MKD is a great idea. But just not as a sub-boss.

I think it would be better if merely one were brought into the series(assuming the rest disbanded), and he was given a unique name with unique moves. Originally, the Shadow Priests were actually under the rule of Shang Tsung. Perhaps one could return to avenge Shang if he's dead, or merely represent his purpose if he's only weakened. But I think Sub-bosses should be left as monstrosities. The Shadow Priest would be a much better playable kombatant.

Thats an awesome idea! First i was thinkin that it shud be a female, but it wud be better if it was a shadow priest....they are evil and he can have a cool weapon (like wat the scarecrow had in batman) and they can have a sorta look like the ones from Harry Potter 3.....except we shud be able to see a little of their scary face.....

It'd be pretty kool if there was a room with a bunch of them all around, sort of like in the MK 1 movie when Sub zero fought that guard and killed him with the ice ball.
