Havik has no master. His purpose in Decpetion to make sure Dragon King never get ahold of all the realems. That would cause order, choas relem doesn't believe in order. Also I don't think there are any hints of Havik in other past MK game.

True, but as he said, in Havik's ending, they do refer to Shao Kahn as his old master. Hmmm... I wonder. I think the possibility of Havik being Shang Tsung is far off but possible.

he does have his snake style? plus i rember in mk3 u had to hold left and all three buttons to pull out regular smoke has anyone try hold buttons in after the start selection for anything.
hmm, he's not Shang Tsung at least yet not. It would look stupid if you ask me. He doesn't even resemble his demon form. But then again, when did Shang not look like anyone other-morphing?
Maybe he's as ancient as Khan himself. Remember Khan being Onagas advisor or battlelord? maybe Havik was third in command under Onaga and then under Khan.

Remember that Shang Tsung's true form was never seen before and it can very well be Havik, although it's a far fetched theory.

Is that from some comic book or something?
I've never seen that in any of the games... I never played MK Mythologies though so it may have been there but I didn't guess so...

Not so rude , but Havik is just Havik. I also read Havik's enidng , the only thing that connection to Kahn that Havik had was he was Kahn's advisor. I could have misread it because I thought Kahn was DK's advisor.
CAN YOU PEOPLE READ! Yes, maybe the antecedant for "his" is a TAD unclear...but it should NOT cause this much controversy! "The others had defeated the Dragon King, but left his broken body unattended on the floor of his throne room. Not long ago, a similar fate had befallen his former advisor, Shao Kahn." His is referring to Onaga. Shao Kahn was Onaga's former advisor: it even says that in Konquest a BAJILLION times! Maybe I should REWORD the passage as thus: "The others had defeated the Dragon King, but left his broken body unattended on the floor of his throne room. Not long ago, a similar fate had befallen Onaga's former advisor, Shao Kahn." Does that help clarify things? Havik has not been in any previous Mortal Kombat games. I hope this doesn't come across as a flame, I just have a way of making things seem flamey when that wasn't the intent.
I vote to close this thread.

omg ya Havic is the result of Tsung and Chi put together when they got blown up by Raiden in the INTRO!!!!!!! jk..... hes not Shang Tsung or any one but himself.
Havic has been apart of the MK story in the past but he was never mentioned. he is who saved Kabal from dying when Mavado left him to just die. so Havic is the reason Kabal is still alive and didnt die back then. then in MKD Havic convinced Kabal to remake the Black Dragon and for Kabal to get revenge against Mavado so Kabal killed Mavado in MKD. now stfu bout this "Havic is Shang Tsung or unmasked Rain or ect." cuz thats just BS.
only thing Havic's ending is hinting is the set up for MK7 with Kahn being back (like how Reptiles ending in MKDA set up MKD)

Sorry haven't been on all day.
About a 2 years ago I saw a fan character drawing of Havik at some site, and it was really good but, at that time they had just released DA, so theres no possible way they would have released it to the public, that is if they had even started making MK:D. Final result, Midway and the creators of MK, took somebodys fan creation and made it there own. Cheap bastards.

In the crypt it says that Havik was created based off of their origionaly concepts for Noob's Alternate costume...so maybe they were basing unmasked Noob off of that concept drawing. By the way Shang Tsung looks similar to Baraka in his true form. Boon released an image of Shang Tsung in his true form a while ago, I'm sure you can find it in one of the forums, Shang is a Tarkatan or a related species (maybe one of the two species that the Tarkata are hybrids of). He looks nothing like Havik - the Boon sketch will prove that - he looks more like Baraka.
Again I vote to close this thread.

Shang isn't Tarkata. He is a demion in human form. Tarkata is a Netherealm mixed with ( forget, but it was either people from the Ediana or Outworld )

To clear up confusion about Shao Kahn being HAvik's 'master', that part was referring to Onaga being Shao Kahn's master, as Shujinko was narrating what had happened, and that their fates were similar. From the ending, and I quote: "The others had defeated the Dragon King, but left his broken body unattended on the floor of his throne room. Not long ago, a similar fate had befallen his former advisor, Shao Kahn. Havik ripped the still-warm heart from the carcass and consumed it, thus absorbing Onaga's power to reanimate the dead. The ending was still talking about Onaga up to that point. Kahn was Onaga's advisor before he turned on him.

ok. where do I start. Havik is not Tsung nor is he a mixture/hybrid of tsung and quan chi. havik is a cleric of the realm of chaos. as the ending states he rips the heart out of ONAGA and consumes it so he can get the power to reanimate the dead. but if it was tsung in disguise....why would he need to eat something that allowed him to bring ppl back to life when he could already do that through soul retransportaion. also! I don't think that tsung would want khan back alive anyways. he fears him and his power. that is why he iced him in Deadly alliance and liu kang because they were the only ones besides the not yet revealed dragon king that could stop their plans. so i doubt tsung would bring back an old threat. Havik helped kabal out and told him to reform the black dragon.Kabal did as instructed but at the end he "Slays" havik only to have havik tell him he is impressed. so does this mean that havik did not get the heart and now The black dragon have the ability to reanimate the dead. think about that. what if the black dragon started raising up legions of un dead to fight with them. Earth would be destroyed. Jarek would be resurected as well and kano would be back in the mix, so now the mortals would have to deal with mortals not crazy wizards or sorrcerey or emperor's. it would be alittle more realistic but then again when has mk ever been serious? just a thought.........
