hey, if you go over to mksecrets.com and you go to the news archives and you choose april. there's an interview between the German gamepro mag and the mk team , it states:

GamePro: Can you tell us something more about the story?
John Vogel: A new evil power will appear. It will lead the world to a total annihilation. During the years the Elder Gods have expected this and they have prepared for it. With the aid of the chosen one they will try to protect all that exist.
...
this can only mean one thing, shujinko is our new hero.

Are you a member of Gambid's site to, I'm but I never saw you over there,by the way to answer you question I'll have to say Shujinko,some injudicious kids might say I'm wrong but I'm cool with my belief!

Gambid is a nice person,he usually submits news to mkonline! By the way Shujinko is on a mission for the eldergods and they gave him powers to do it,if you want to see the video click here!

yeah i saw that already, thanks. It looks like shujinko has been traing he's whole life to defeat the dragon king, and he's going to use every mk fighter's experience and skill to deafeat him...kinda cool.

I got a slightly different question, but dont want to create a new thread just because of this:

The "heroes" of each MK are:

MK1: Liu Kang
MK2: Liu Kang (and Kung Lao?)
MK3: ??
MKG: ??
MKDA: Kung Lao and Kitana (?)
MKD: ??

These are speculations... correct me if I'm wrong: thats the point of this Message !

mkda=I'm guessing its kung lao
mkd=i think its shujinko

but i thought kung lao beat tsung (avenging liu kang) and kitana beat quan chi ...... m i right ?

to be honest am not even sure kung lao was the hero for mkda, So i dont know who defeated the deadly alliace. Its all going to be reveald in the opening fmv for mkd

He was but he might be the Shujinko's partner because he returned to earth to chain the monks after defeating Shang Tsung.
