DaYum. All this info is getting me even MORE excited than i already am. A new shokan? Amazing. I always thought they wouldnt be able to pull that one off since they say it would be difficult, but now that they can do it, i'm really pleased. A shokan in 3D will r0x0rz me s0x0rz.

Noob is not from Outworld but the Netherealm.

I personally think chances are extremely slim that if characters like Nightwolf and Kabal make their appearance, classic heroes should not return (Kung Lao has the greatest chances imo).

Also, Sub-Zero had these "spectre" eyes in MK:DA as well... (check his alt outfit) so nothing new here.

I think that the Hoard of Earthrealm fighters aren't gonna be in so as when MK7 comes around we will appreciate them more.

Its kinda sad that so few of the true classics (playable MK1 only) may make it to MKD. So far the only true classic confirmed is Scorpion. (Don't yell SUB-ZERO, he is not a true classic. His older brother is and has NOT been confirmed if he will ever return from the dead.) And since so many of them was in MK:DA and so few from that game returning there is no way for all of the surviving true classics to return. Sonya, Rayden, Johnny Cage, and Kano all are true classics, but there is only three slots left. I doubt that all three slots will be given to true classics so only one, two or maybe none of these will appear in MK:D. Kinda makes me hesitant about reserving a copy of the game. I feel that the game should not even be called Mortal Kombat without at least three of the true classics.

However, I can see how the storyline could be going so that most of Earths warriors would be busy setting up defenses while a few with other realms warriors fight the Dragon King. If Sonya, Rayden, Johnny are busy setting up defenses then other MK characters such as Nightwolf and Kenshi are trying to slow him down by attacking.

I think that's just sour grapes...who said there has to be atleast 3 "true" classics. Whether there are "true" classics involved in the game or not, there are PLENTY of familiar faces...it's time to move on...it's the 6th official installment of this franchise, you expect the same characters to be here EACH friggen time? The only way to grow, is to create more characters...give the franchise an edge, I love all the oldies, but please don't throw a hissy fit if Kano or Sonya isn't going to be here...it's really not a big deal. I love Shang Tsung, am I buying the game if he's not in it? Hell yeah, I'm not going to cry over spilled milk about them not meeting MY personal standards for "true" classic characters. It's SO petty now at this point, "only so many characters are returning from MK 1"...MK 1 was over 10 friggen years ago...MOVE ON. Whoever said this in the other thread is right, no matter what Ed Boon and the midway crew do, no matter HOW perfect they may nail this game...there's always going to be SOMEONE crying over SOMETHING...no matter how small.

*shrugs* That's your opinion and I have mine. Perhaps I am too old school, but unless there is a very good reason for a character who has been with a series for such a long time, just ups and disappears I start wondering if the game is changing too much. I just feel that if they so few true classics returning there better be a very good reason. Anyways, I mainly upset by the fact that it doesn't look good for the thunder god.

i thought the intro fmv for mkda made it rahter clear that shang and quan had to kill kahn and kang in order to make their deadly alliance work. the bios of several characters mention kahn's death. why do the kiddies insist he is still around? unlike say kabal where it never said he died, mkda mentions more than once that he did.

Konqrr if you know somthing more then the rest of us i think you chould tell us.

Well IMO they'd be retarded to include Lei Mei instead of Kitana. But.. we may even see both. Would that mean two sai operators? Haha.. I hope not..

Hmm, so it's Li Mei. Fine by me, I remember Li Mei using a kick lick that.

BUT, mileena has been seen with sais. This means that li mei can't have her sais back, since two fighters with the same weapon/style sucks imo. I'm kinda fearing this will be the case (having them both have the sais), 'cause I think you can see one sticking in li mei's boot in the picture with the comparison to sindel.

Anyways that makes three pink-dressed ladies and honestly I think it's starting to get a bit monotonuous. I think Sindel should have a black outfit.

I dont see any Sai sticking out of "Li Mei's" boot. I honestly hope your wrong for once Konqrr, cause I really dont want Li Mei back as opposed to Kitana coming back. Why Li Mei? I mean I like her, shes good, and shes hot too but why pick her over Kitana? I guess time will only tell...

Its a good theory but I think the return of the Dragon King will affect Earth.

I think Night Wolf, Kung lao, Raiden and Sub-Zero will be fighting for the Earth realm.

Raiden will say that the return of the DK is very bad and he will soon begin to take over realms starting with OutWorld and Earth.

well i already know kitana is confirmed. shes on the confirmed list at davesmk.com

Why would they let Li Mei return, she looks to much like Mileena IMO. And now with Mileena back she's just a waste of spots. I've got nothing against Li Mei but i rather have 2 completly different characters the 2 that are almost the same. And she is brobable not even necessary for the story.
