kitana is in the pics of the chess mini game along with sub-zero, scorpion and quan chi. so yeah she most be in the game.

If you look at the "MK:D Chess Mini Game" screenshot, you'll notice the fighters that are being used. There's Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Quan Chi, and Kitana. Now, this is a quote from a published article regarding this mini game: "The first is a strategy board game akin to chess or Archon, with the kombatants as pieces on a chessboard. Attempting to capture a piece requires the opponents to duke the characters out a la standard arcade mode."

Also, regarding that picture of the female fighter kicking Kenshi, it's DEFINITELY Sindel. If you have the PSM Magazine, there is a separate screenshot of Sindel. Now, compare the two costumes. They are identical. Also, in the picture of Kenshi, you can tell that the female fighter has long black and white hair. Li Mei didn't have such hair, nor did Kitana or Mileena. It's Sindel.

I can't believe I didn't notice that picture...that is definitely KITANA. This is strictly opinion.

If you look close, Sindel has flowy white hair with a skunky black stripe down the middle...the girl in the pic does not, her hair is straight like Kitana's. Sindel's costume has more detail, as the girl in this pic has a smoother costume like Kitana's costumes have always been.

I think this is Kitana too, its probable a new version of her alt costume. Kitana has boots just like that in MKDA and her alt costume was purple. And if you look at that other pic where she is fighting Ashrah and see that her stance looks just like her Eagle Claw stance.

I dont think that Li Mei will return cause IMO she looks too much like Mileena, they both have the same weapon, colors and stuff. And now with Li Mei gone (I asume she is) her Lui He Ba Fa stance may have past to Kitana wich explains the kick in the second pic. But for now i think we just have to wait, we will find out soon enough and then we'll now for sure.

Yes, I also noticed, it does look like Sindels alt, just like so many were shown in their alts too: Mileena, Baraka, Sub-Zero...we saw all their alt costumes.

Where do you guys see the long black and white hair in that pic. I dont see it, i can only see part of her costume between her legs.

And... The Costume of the Girl that this kicking Kenshi, is not looked either like any of these 3... quarter costume, or 2 of these are Li Mei?

the 2nd and 3rd pictures are the same outfit, and it's mileena because shes masked, i dont think the woman in the picture is kitana, because that would mean there would be 3 women in pink outfits, kitana, mileena and sindel. Kitana wears blue not pink damnit, so it's sindel the pictures blurred anyway so u cant really make out much of the facial details

Kitana in MKDA wears blue in her first costume and purple in her second.

Sindel's white hair is on the page that has the baraka and sindel sketches.

I do agree that the second and third pic of the ones that Shinomune has posted is Mileena. But the girl kicking Kenshi in the PSM pics has no mask and a normal face (so cant be Mileena) and also does not have long white/black hair (so cant be Sindel).

Well I noticed that Sub-zero's costume in the PSM magazine with his bald head in TWO DIFFERENT COLORS. Same costume, just different colors. One with his mid piece gold, and the other silver. So there's no telling what's going on with the costumes. Maybe they will have more costumes and colors than we think.

Yes, but remember hair colors dont have to be the same:

Kung Lao had black, second outfit, light brown.

And hair colors change like:

Cage in first Mks: Black/brown.
Cage in MKDA: Light Brown/Blond

Im not saying Kitana wont return, or that its not her, its possible, but it looks to me like thats Sindel. Makes sence. Look at the costumes, they look almost the same.

Yeah i guess thats true. But i dont see long hair either and i dont think they will change that cause that's Sindel's thing. But i guess it could be behind her back and that we cant see it from this angle. But we will find out soon enough who it is.

Also add, Sub-Zero has different hair color and style.

Ermac was kind a black/brown in MKU. In MKT he was white and so he is now.

Yes, same outfit... but different haircut. In the third pic, Mileena takes the long hair, and in the others pics with the same dress, takes the gathered hair.

But anyway, are a different outfit that in the unmasked pic.

the costumes dont have to look the same if they are an alternate, so that could be sindels alt and not kitana.

And in the magazine, the pic of Sindel shows A LOT OF BLACK HAIR and only a little white.

That pic is just a sketch, we are comparing two in-game images. I'm not saying that it couldn't be Sindel's alternate costume...but Sindel's white hair starts at her sides above her ears and you would definitely be able to see it in that image.
