Reiko is not Shao Kahn. Been confirmed for a long time now.
Anyway, I'd like to see Reiko return. I enjoyed using him I thought he was cool and intriguing. He just needs his own story, preferably not involving Shao Kahn.

I knew he wasn't. I just remember a rumor revolving around that. I just really hope he is a super unlockable. I am probably getting Mortal Kombat 4 tomorrow.

raiko was a good character. his spikes were awesome, his sode-changing spin, his 360 kick and his ninja stars fatality. yep, he should be back. i just hope he won't look as gay as he did in conquests..........

Not to be mean but I hope Not! There are better characther to put as super unlockable than Reiko But I never like Kabal and Smoke and there looking great right now so who Knows!!!

i didnt ever play Mk4 much.. and i think thats the only game he was in... describe him!

His fatality was:
He threw those chinese star things at his opponent. I forget his other one.

His other one was he kicked his opponent's stomach which made the torso fly off leaving the head and arms spinning in the air before falling to the ground.

Yea, they need to bring back Kai and Reiko, but I think they should save that for MK7.

Fatality #1 - Reiko gets down on 1 knee and starts throwing Shurikens (ninja stars, in other words) at them. By the end of it they have shurikens sticking out all over the place and they just drop.
Fatality #2 - Reiko stands in front of them and gives their torso a front kick really hard. It gets stupid now, since the arms and head seperate from the torso and all 4 pieces kind of rotate in the air and drop 1 by 1. Almost the dumbest fatality ever, almost...
Anyways, I liked his character, he was pretty cool. His moves were decent, his look was decent, his story is nonexistent so it can be worked on easily, he'd fit into MK:D without a problem. I severely doubt he'll be in though, I'd honestly rather see Fujin or Kai if we're getting into the MK4 newbies (even though Fujin was in mythologies, it doesn't really count according to me).

Ya have them revamped on the Next-Gen systems. That would be awesome!!

I liked Reiko, I thought he had a great appearance, story and moves, not to mention he was a royal pain in the ass to beat.

reiko was ok.....but by the looks of his ending where he puts on sho kahns mask, it seemed like he was ment for more of a gimmick. and i dont think alot of the true fans that played mk sinse the arcades would really care bout him. likei said he wasnt bad ....but theres a hell of alot more ppl that are better. and towards Kai, he was one of the most retarded characters of all, he was a mistake as much as taking cyraxs mask off revealinga triple chined black dude, and makind sub zero and old gieser.

I love reiko!! He had great potential.. and despite wat people think, i feel that he shoulde be sumhow involved with Shao kahn in his story.. i think that's the thing that ppl talked most about reiko.. His fatalities wer not bad, moves were cool... I'd rather see him in MK7 though..

i thaught shinnok was a bad character but he had one of the best fatalites ever seen (the where the hand crushed them and their head poped off)

Reiko has always been one of my favorite characters. He was great in MK4, great moves, good fatalities (the shurikens one, at least) but a really crap story. I think all characters should be involved to another MK char in some way, and I would like to have a solution to the Reiko - Shao Kahn problem. Unlike almost evreyone, I think that MK4 had some great new characters (Shinnok, a boss that could be improved but looked really nice; Reiko, that could come back with an awesome story; Tanya, that is getting great in Deception; Fujin, that should substitute Raiden for at least one game; and Quan Chi, one of the best characters created so far). But I really don't think we're gonna see Reiko again, what is a shame.
