As long as they're tossing in old BG's, I want the one that we learned to fear back in MKI.

I want a big, circular arena, with those corpse-ridden spikes at the bottom. No halfway damage dazards, just death, pure and simple, if you get slammed while at the edge.

I want a windly, cloudy sky...

..and of course I also want a shadow to fly over a full moon...

How about you guys?

If they were to bring a pit to MKD it should be from MK2. I liked the on in MK3 because the others had barely any fun to them, the on in MK2 had animation and was funny. They fall, fall and fall until they hit a hard floor and die.

well technicaly, the pit2 is back in the form of the tower.. and the pit1 is back in the form of the crumbling spiral.. (well they are to me)

In one of the DOA:U trailers, there is game play footage of a fight taking place on a rope bridge. One of the fighters gets kicked off of the bridge. Maybe they could do something like this in the future.

Ex. of how I think it could work in a MK game. The fight doesn't start on the bridge but it is in the area, where as fighters can walk onto it or end up on it some how. It could be narrow where you can't side step, and it would act just like the death traps in MK:D, you get kick off, thats it.

Go check out the DOA:U video at gamespot or some where to see what i mean.

I think that the pit would be cool only if it were part of a stage and not a complete stage. Like... a walkway between two arenas instead of getting kicked through a wall you can back up through a door and its there and you keep going.

Nevermind. My idea is retarded.

What, that one whre the edges of the arena gradually fall down? That one where we've seen Nightwolf and Sindel fall to their deaths? It can't be. The original Pit is a high platform with lion statues, and metal spikes at the bottom. There's a dark sky, full moon, etc.

The crumbling tower looks nothing like it. What we see at the bottom are long stalagmites, seemingly composed of rock.

Here's a cool idea, You start off in a tower level in Mortal Kombat and you start off in a 3-D fighing enviorment like Deadly Alliance. When one of the opponent's get kicked through the wall they land of the platform that is the pit stage.

You can't sidestep too much or you will stumble across the edge giving the opponent a chance to hit you and if he or she hits you with an attack strong enought you will fall of the stage into spikes. To prefent falling you would be sort of like fighting in 2-D which would bring back the classic method of fighting in Mortal Kombat but with all the fighitng features of the new game, weapons, switching styles you know what I mean.
That sounds pretty cool.


I would like it if you would fight on a bridge, but the bridge would be pretty wide.

So you don't fall off so easy.


Then you can't just be pushed off the edge, you would have to be hit with a launcher attack, like an uppercut, or a round house.


It would be hard to fall off the edge, like in SC2, or else it would kind of suck.


But it would be so awesome to have the bridge back.

At least as part of another stage like mentioned above.
