i wish mk8 would return to arcades

if mortal kombat is going to try and fix itself from all of its problems then it should go back to its roots...what if mk could say this?

1. new gameplay
2. fix kharacters
3. new kharacters
4. old fatality system
5. return to arcades
6. dark feel

with all of the other inprovements, returning to the arcade would be the icing on the kake..

idk, maybe im a wishful thinker, but i really these 6 things would increase the khance of mk kompeting with some of the other fighers..

whats your opinions of this? wouldn't it help sell a lot more games for next gen?

It Wouldn't work.

Arcade game play went down the toilet in 2000 for everything.

and I don't think an arcade system has the capitacy for extemly advanced gameplay and graphics that will already be on next generation consoles.
They can put a ps3 or 360 inside the arcade machine, or part of it just to run the game etc.

I used to work as a game tech. at an arcade and saw that DDR had a PS2 inside.

I would love to see if somehow arcade games enter the new generation for once. Though I do miss playing the games... especially CarnEvil and MK4. I rule on the arcade version of this game but sadly I don't rule on the ps1 version.... funny.

Heck No! The we would have to wait for it to come out on consoles. Even if it's three months or so, still would make fans angry.

it would be nice to have it return to the arcades but i dont think so. plus there isnt any arcades around where i live.

Carnevil,now that was a bad ass game.

In a way it would be cool cause atleast then they would have a chance to keep revising the game like they did with all the other MK games that made their way to the arcade.But then again its just like patches that they could put out to fix or change things for the better,hopefully.

MK8 is getting improved anyway, going back to the Arcade won't make any difference except to those oldschool offline players like myself that grew up in the early late 70's/early 80's era...

But they could do if they wanted(they won't since the arcade scene is dead) is do what Bleed said and put a 360, Wii or PS3 inside an arcade cabinet
