All the missing characters from MKDA (except Blaze, Mokap and Moloch)... :)

I agree.
I miss the original fighters. It feels so empty without Sonya, and Johnny Cage. Its also sad not to see potential characters such as Nitara, Frost, Drahmin and Mavado in the game.
But hey, Im sure they will return for MK7.
I think MKD was ment to be the final of the MK series for Ps2 Xbox and Gamecube, reason why they brought back most of the nostalgic characters that were considered lame or clones.
They saved the rest for a greater comeback in Mk7. Im sure we wont see many of the ones we have seen in MKD again .and that kind a sucks because I really like the characters of that game.
But yeah, I really wish Sonya and Johnny Cage were back.

I personally think that we never get happy with characters from MK.
In MKDA we all miss Mileena, Baraka, Kabal, etc.
Now they are back and we miss Sonya, Cage, Jax, etc.
Unless they make a game with tons of characters, we have to like the games as they are.

Nitara, Sareena (I count her), Frost, Kano, and Mavado.
I know we will see them in the future. But I want them to come back.

Everyone except Mokap and Moloch. Sonya really though, she was such a kickass fighter.

Kitana, Sareena (I'll count her too, what the hell), Sektor, Nitara, Kung Lao, Quan Chi, and Frost.
I would've liked to have seen Mavado get another shot too. I thought he had a good story, he just needed better moves.

I miss Nitara, Mavado and Cyrax. But cyrax would be better if he had his net move.

The rest could of stayed out but they should of brought back Sonya and Kung Lao.

I think all of the following we should be able to see in a Mortal Kombat game atleast one last time in 3-D. In no particaular order...
1. Shao Kahn (he's my favorite villan of all time)
2. Kintaro (badass sub-boss)
3. Rain (my favorite ninja after scorpion)
4. Reptile (ninja form)
5. Reiko (he already looks bad ass, just modify his story and maybe his look)
6. Jarek (i know a lot of people would like him if they would change his moves and look)
7. Stryker (i know some of you hate him now, but a lot of you would like him if they would revamp EVERYTHING on him, give him a swat look, and make him skinnier)
8. Mavado (i don't see why he wasn't in MKD, also my favorite new character in DA.)

Definetly Kung Lao!! His hat throwing fatality waz bomb and he jus looked kick ass.

Kung Lao, hopefully there is some sort of chars left, even though extremely doubtful. I kicked ass with him in DA, but Shujinko has his styles, I just havent played as him that much.

Not having Nitara was a huge letdown for me.
Considering Bo Rai Cho made it back makes it that much worse.

Sadly, thats the truth.
I love MkD, even without my main girl Sonya, but I cant deny it feels incomplete.
Still, i think its the best game.

I don't have the game yet, being in Europe and all, but I know I already miss my boys Kung Lao, Shang Tsung and Mavado. I also miss Sonya, Kitana, Nitara and Frost.
It's sad that these characters aren't in MKD, though they could easily be Super Unlockables if they are there. Given all their stories, they really shouldn't have been left out of MKD, but then, there can only be so much room for characters.

I agree, the game not having my top 2 MK fighters pissed me off (Sektor & Mavado)
plus alot of other bits here and there (Alignments etc)
Overall, i'm disappointed with the game. I'd rate it about 72%..

When the Mk team create new characters, they have to be careful. If they give the character a major storyline in the game, and the character is unpopular, then that character will have to return or else leave gap in the story. Look at say Frost in MKDA. They killed her in her ending incase she was unpopular.But she proved to be popular and so Frost fans were pissed! And look at Nitara, they unwittingly gave her a big story, an interesting one and then thats it, fearing she would be unpopular they left her out of MKD. So they are left with a gap. But characters they liked themself, Kenshi, Bo' Rai Cho, they thought would be popular, and at least they were right for Kenshi but Bo Rai Cho doesn't have a big fan base and we're stuck with him.

Shang Tsung and Kung Lao if those two were in this game(playable)..... id be soo damn happy (even though i like the chars now)

Well I think I am the first to say I wish Kano would have come back. Frost would have been nice too... they need to expand on the plot with her and Sub Zero's heritage and all.
