Personally, I would love to see Shao Kahn as playable character, but with fighting styles, and not as a boss with only 6 or 7 moves... but I doubt it will arrive...

Kahn was the best thing that happened to MK
since he appeared on MKII, the MK story took off in a huge way & people fell in love with the game
but since he died, MK hasnt been the same since MK2/3
But in MK6 theres alota fighters & stages from Shao Kahn era & people also want shao kahn back
he was so tough & strong & he was a real boss but shinok & quan/shang havnt really acomplished what he had done for MK
I personally love to have Kahn back :D
I remember seeing Kahn Fight raiden in the outworld in MKC & i'll do anythin to see that fight again

Kahn would be awesome to play as, but they should wait until the next game.
Make Kahn integral to the story line and then let us use him to beat the crap out of Quan Chi and Shang Tsung!!

It would be great if he was a playable character, a past boss verses the dragon king. It's like Shao Kahn wants to be on the top, and with him defeating the dragon king would make him the ultimate threat to everyone else. Gives me chills just thinking about it. Hehe.

Kahn shouldn't be playable, they should focus him back tryin to regain boss status.

I have a crush on Shao Kahn! He's a great character, I'd love to play as him. I don't know about anyone else, but when they made Goro like a regular player (i.e., fast, normal size, etc.) I really enjoyed being him in MK4. I'd love for them to make an MK game with a normalized Shao Kahn, and maybe an alternate without the helmet =P

If these ass clowns killed Shao Kahn in MKDA, he should STAY dead. Along with Goro and Liu Kang

Well, in the world of MK, it just feels right killing off characters and resurrecting them. According the way I look at the series, it happens in every single MK game with everybody except the winner.
I don't want Khan as a playable character. The CPU is the ultimate master at playing as Khan and nobody else is.

Sure, I'd love it if Onaga was playable. It's just that Shao Kahn has an awesome look and dominating presence. He's overall one of the most badassed characters in Mortal Kombat, That's why i want him to be playable.

As for Onaga, I really hope he is not playable. It just takes away the “fun” to play with the final monster boss.

Make his moves powerful and badass looking like another Quan chi, give him a fighting style like another quan chi dammit, with him punching people kicking there ass on the ground, beating there ass with there own leg.
Khan will have a new look, and without his helmet, and also khan never died dummy, goro is still dead, lui kang is still dead, they are in outworld dead people come form there dont they??
kang cant enter earthrealm nomore he is dead, goro is still dead and buried, and khan never died, either did kabal. MK team did think twice they thought twice on killing raiden because they didnt wanna resurect him, cause they think that is getting dumb and old. MK1 fighter will die for GOOD in MK:D i can tell you that, and it doesnt mean they have to be a playable MK1 fighter either.
Khan will have fighting styles now, its not 2d MK, shang tsung sucked in MK1, but look at him in MKDA, badass. Khan could have one fighting style for power and looks, like the R1 move for quan chi where he jumps on you and pucnhes you, he could have a fighting style for speed where he can do like these 40 hit combos and where he is use his shadow rush quickly and blends in with that fighting style, his weapon could be something like a stage weapon hammer which is slow but hits you and inflicts major damage, but has all basic buttons and weapon has no combos.
I think if anything he should have the best and worst bloodiest fatlaity in the game, and he should have moves like quan chi as i said.
i mean quan chi is punching people beating people with there own leg, killing people left and right quan chi has "killed" like 7 people now LOL.
Shao khan does nt have to be slow, and he has a new look. in MK3 he wasnt meant to be player controlled only computer controlled he was unbalanced.
Sheeva was a shokan and she was fast cause she was meant to be played, i bet if sheeva was the subboss and you could unlock her she wouldnt play as smooth as you thought, and also goro MK4, he was very good and you cold play him.
They dont have to make shao khan small either, raiden is the same height as shao khan and raiden is fast in MKDA, quan chi is another tall ass fucker.
Khan is weakened and now even more weakened, he should be neutral, and then turn good and say fuck it help earthrealm, not will he only be able to enter earthrealm by being there allies he can rule but rule for good purposes.
Quan chi is stronger then Khan, so if you say khan is too good to be played to to tall you are wrong, raiden and quan chi are his height and quan is almost there height, and cyrax weights 650 pounds so it isnt weight either, and quan chi is the strongest MK fighter of all time except for Onaga, and Quan chi is playable. Khan could blend in, but i think he will be neutral for a while until he turns good.
same with scorp, he is offically good, so is subzero, i would love to see a cutscene with subby and scorp back to back against each other.
backs touching backs, got there fighting style ready and shang is on subs side of the field and quan chi is on scorps side of the field, then subby starts unleasing his power of shang while scorp is whooping quan chis ass.
dammit back on subject khan should be playable.

I would rather him come back in MK7 as well. He is my favorite boss of all time and everything, but the longer we wait for his return, the more badass it is that he does return.

kahn and shinnok should come back for a deadly alliance part 2... but against the dk Onaga, not the earth realm, that would be good for mk8 if there is one...
Kahn is a bad ass boss, no other fighting game has had a bigger presence, hes the best hands down in any fighting game...

Stop whining unless you know what you're talking about. Boon confirmed that Shao Kahn never died by the DA, he came near death but pulled through. It's not like the video showed him officially dead with his head missing or something, he was just knocked out or faking it so they didn't finish him off.

Why do we want him?
Because he's a badass. Simply put. Best end boss ever. It's not a coincidence that when MK was in its prime is when Kahn was at the helm.
And as for him sitting out this game until MK7, screw that. He's sat out MK4 and MKDA (both of which had horribly shitty bosses).

I would absolutely love to see Shao Kahn playable. I realize that he was a physically large character. I also realize that it would be hard to give him styles, but think about this:
1. Make him about the size that Hsu Hao was in MK:DA.
2. Give him powerful styles to match his powerful physical presence. i.e. Pancratian, Aikido, Iron Stomach, Jujitsu, etc...
3. To live up to his reputation, he would have to have some of the sickest fatals we've ever seen. I for one, would be very disappointed if he ended up with something like a neck stretch fatal.
4. A completely finished Shao Kahn(normal compliment of moves, fatals, special moves, etc.) is a dream of mine. I just think that it would make too much sense to have him in this game, but I could be wrong. If he isn't in this one, he has to be in MK7.

I also hear that the old mountain is going to be the arcade map this time around just like in mk2 but in 3d.
