If Kitana died what do you think of the fate of Jax , Kung Lao, Sonya, and Cage?

I read in one of Queve's threads that Kitana had died and has been ressurected by the Dragon King. I know Queve is as honest as any member on this site could get so what do you all think happened to the people that were defeated with her?

Sonya Blade, Kung Lao, Jax, and Johnny Cage were all lying next to her outside of Shang Tsung's palace. If Kitana had died then do you think all of them have died and their spirits went to another realm?

Why would Kenshi run to Ermac if he was part of the Special Forces? Would he not be with Sonya and Jax to take on this new threat? With this fact do you think both Sonya and Jax suffered the same fate as Kitana?

Why would Bo Rai Cho start to fight if the Deadly Alliance was not defeated. I thought Bo Rai Cho was only training Kung Lao, but since their is no sign of Kung Lao, what is Bo Rai Cho's purpose to fight Onaga? Do you think he wants to avenge the death of Kung Lao or could there be another reason?

Why would Liu Kang be ressurected? Who would ressurect him? Do you think that the death of Earthrealm's key fighters left that realm desperate enough to ressurect its dead champion in spirit form to defend it?

We have seen a picture of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade in the prison stage. But why would they be there with dead warriors such as Goro? Do you think they are in a prison in the Netherealm? Could they have died and their souls travelled to the same place where Sub-Zero was in in Mortal Kombat: Mythologies? Or is that just a prison where Onaga keeps his P.O.Ws?

I think they ALL died during the raid to Shang's palace... and they where revived as slaves to the DK

Maybe Liu Kang is another of The Dragon king's slaves? I have a theory that the Dark Prison is actually a place where dead souls are imprisoned. Maybe it is inside The Dragon King or something?

Maybe since Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, Jax, etc. souls are protected, Onaga cannot resurrect them? That's why Kitana is the only one known to be revived? Or Onaga did resurrect Sonya Blade and co., but since their souls are protected, Onaga could not simply turn them evil, so he imprisoned them?

Holy shit, that would be so crazy to see. That could be the one of the major "Deceptions" in this game. Could you imagine what it must be like for Liu Kang if he is the only good guy left and he was brought back to life just to deal with that. How could you fight all of your friends alone? If that is so, do you think that Raiden's whole evil look is that cause?

In Sonya's Bio it doesnt state that she died in MK:Deadly Alliance, but it does seem like all the dead characters are being paraded in the prisons stage.

With the exception of Kung, and possibly Sonya if only to make members of this forum happy, I hope they're all dead and gone. Jax and Cage have got to go

All of them are dead from the looks of things. Only Kung Lao I would want to return. The others, not so much. If any characters die, it will be alot in this game. That's what I think.

Perhaps since Kitana is the only one of those characters from Outworld, she is the only one the Dragon King could resurrect.

Killing of Kang: Good Move
Killing of Jax: Depends. He's the character you either love or hate. Frankly, to me, hes the guy you love to hate.
Killing of Cage: Best move ever!
Killing of Kitana: Boon's gonna have to answer to me!
Killing of Sonya: If boon knows whats good for him, he won't do it.

I seriously doubt they were all killed and resurrected, IMO its lame and stupid. There is no need to kill them all, so later, they can be reborn as evil spirits. Brainwash by the King is a better solution then an unnecessary death.

I believe they managed to survive the blast, but where captured by the King and imprisoned.

Also, about Kenshi not being with Sonya, it says in her bio vid that she never found her missing special agents, Kenshi and Cyrax. While Cyrax was facing Reptile and helping Nitara, Kenshi was searching for Shang Tsung and facing Mavado.

Sonya never found them, but she joined forces with her classic team to defeat the DA.

The characters who appear in prison are not neccesarily canon. Remember that Goro was killed, placed into a coffin, and then dipped into molten lava. And yet, he's there, behind bars.

The reason for this is that the character models from Konquest are seemingly being used for those who are present in the prison stage. Apparently, it's a random draw, so you could have just about anyone in there. Don't be surprised if we see Kintaro sometime soon.

Anyway, just using Goro as an example; until we see a bio that says his undead burnt corpse arose from the lava to fight again, don't accept his presence as being a true one (neither his, or any of the imprisoned characters) - not just yet.

(BTW, just because an ending did not happen does not mean that certain events taking place in said ending do not happen. So just because she could nto attend, due to being dead, does not mean that Goro's body was not disposed of.)

thats a good idea that they resurrected liu kang because the other people couldnt defeat shang or quan, so he might if he's resurrected...

i think that all the people have been captured and put into jail...and some have been resurrected like kitana

I reckon they're dead. The time has come for the MK series to move on a little in terms of it's cast of characters. I think the characters who have made the cut have bigger potential for a great storyline - these "dead" characters have hit the proverbial brick wall in terms of plot, IMO.

So, my opinion of each:

Kitana: I've always liked her, but she needed a fresh plot twist. Will make a good "evil" character.
Jax: Liked him in MK2 down to his very original arm rip fatality... But now I'm glad he's gone. Don't come back.
Kung Lao: Bad move... One of my favourites - cool look, nice fatalities (including the best ever, you know which one). Hope he returns.
Sonya: Queve won't like this. I HATE her... She fucking sucks... Stereotypical game bitch. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Not my least favourite, that honour goes to:
Johnny Cage: Why did he keep returning - the general consensus has always been one of hate... So glad he's gone - never really fit in, IMO.

To be honest though, I'd accept any of my most hated so long as they have nice storylines and decent fatalities. Rant over.

I hope that everyone with the exception of Kung Lao dies. Although i really liked Kitana as she was Jax and Sonya were just so stale and boaring to me. Plus Sonya looked ugly as hell in DA she kinda had like a crypt keeper thing going about her

I think killing of Cage would not be cool, back in the day Mortal Kombat was going to be a game based on his character. Jean Claude Van Damne was supposed to play as Johnny Cage. Cage is a character that is either loved or hated. I love all original 7 characters that made their appearence in the first Mortal Kombat. They are the true originals, I would be pretty pissed off if Cage was revived fought again and died yet again. It would be the stupidest twist in Mortal Kombat period. I think the developers keep Cage around due to the fact that his character inspired the whole Mortal Kombat series.

Well just because Kitana died that doesn't mean Jax,Kung Lao,Sonya,Jax, and Cage died.

Kitana-I'm glad she's comming back especially since she's evil.

Sonya- my favorite will come back I know she will, and she won't die I hope. That would suck.

Kung Lao- I think he should return. He was cool and he deserves to return, I think he was good in mkda.

Jax- Not my particular favorite but if he returns with a better story and moves he may have a chance.

Cage- I used to like him but he has gotten crappier and crappier. He'll need a huge change to become one of my faves again.
