Deception hasn't even come out yet and we don't even know the complete story yet so we wouldn't be able to make proper predictions that are accurate enough to have a good thread about because with improper data people will FLAAAME

I agree, this thread has a point. IF MKD was the end of the series, how would you end it? Simple, it's not the end, but if it was what would you do to finish it as best as possible.

I'd have the Dragon King kill Liu Kang and Shujinko. Sub-Zero dies fighting the Dragon King by permanently freezing him. Everything looks bright and cheerful until Shao Kahn absorbs the Dragon King's soul, and basically becomes Shao Kahn with wings. Quan Chi, Baraka, Ermac and Mileena are all killed, or left for dead. Ashrah has the Dragon Medallion, Scorpion has made a deal with the Elder Gods, and he is allowed into The Heavens to visit his family, despite the purity of the realm eventually destroying him. Raiden, Jax, Kabal, Fujin, Kenshi and Stryker survive and return back to Earthrealm.

I would end it like this:

The Earthrealm warriors are going to make one last desperate strike against the Dragon King. Sub-Zero and Jax return to Earthrealm to stir up the Lin-Kuei and U.S. Army respecively. They return to Outworld and mount one final battle against the DK with Sindel's Edenian forces, recentally taken back from Mileena. The battle is long and hard. Kitana and Mileena die fighting each other. Sindel is killed by Tanya, but Tanya is killed by Jade. Baraka is killed by Master Bo Rai Cho, who is in turn killed by Noob Saibot. Sektor defeats Sub-Zero, and closes in for the kill, but is attacked by Frost, Sektor kills her in a short battle, but giving Sub-Zero enough time to hit Sektor with a deep-freeze, destroying him. Scorpian confronts Quan Chi on the battlefield and kills him. His purpose complete, he summons all his hellspawned energy to destroy the DK, Scorpian is destroyed and reunited with his family, but the DK is still alive but severely weakened by the blast. Shujinko moves in and defeats him in Kombat, but is seriously wounded. Ashrah destroys Skab (or Havik/Onaga), and Dariou is killed by Jax.

The battle claims thousands of lives, but the warriors and soldiers of Earthrealm and Edenia won the battle. Outworld was put under Edenian control, and Jade became queen of Edenia. Sub-Zero and the surviving warriors departed back to Earthrealm.
