MK will always have a place in my library...I just wont waste my time with it if it sucks.

A lot of you guys share my opinions. I won't give up on the series of MK6 isn't that good. But to be honest, it's already looking more promising than MKDA, and that's saying a lot.

My favorite MK game was Ultimate MK3, and this is already looking much funner (real word?) to play.

mk6 is coming out at a PERFECT time. if it sucks, there will be tekken 5 and vf4 final tune to get going on and without being too late to the party.

Mortal Kombat is what got me started playing fighting games. what did we have before that street fighter. Mortal Kombat has grabbed me for ever. MK:DA wasn't all that but it does not matter even if MK:Deception isn't all that i will still be a fan if MK7 isnt all that i will still be a fan so and so forth.

Bottom line it will not effect me

I'll still be a MK fan. Those my user is indeed colguile I am and always will be a MK fan first an foremost.

If this game is PLAYABLE online with most of the cast usable then I will still be a hardcore MK fan. If it blows chucks, I'll still be a MK fan but won't be as big of a fan as I was in the 90's.

i think that i will always like mkbut i dont think mk6 will disappoint but i did think mk5 did.

who thinks mk 5 kinda sucked? i did but i still love mortal kombat.

so dose any body know when mk6 will be out?

even if it dissapoints, arcade classics 2 will keep me a fan

You think so? As far as gameplay goes, MK5 was the best Mortal Kombat in my opinion. As far as overall ranking, it was second only to MK 2. MKDA was great.

MKD has a tough act to follow.

I think the guy who said MK:D was the MKII to MK:DA's MKI was right on. I believe MK:DA has the potential to be the best. Will it be? That's up to us to decide in 168 days.

I think MKDA has already been released and that, MKD has a great chance of being the best game of the MK series. I will still be a fan no matter how good or bad this game is. I know it is just a matter of time before I go online and play someone who just woops the snot out of me online and I take the game out,and throw it in my back yard. Then the next day,go out and buy a new copy. I hope that there is not a way to hack the game online and cheat. That would make me like the game a little less. Mk is in my blood so I will always stand by it and buy any game that says MK on it.

I still believe that MK1-MK Gold are the best. I bouth MKDA, played it to see the Fatalities, and endings, and then never ever touched it again. It was way too boring. Plus, I hated the change in the fighting system. The old HP, LP, LK, HK BLK, and RN system was actually different. MKDA, and maybe MKD if it has the same system, is now just like any other game. It isn't different anymore really. That's what killed my interests on the new games. I'll still get MKD(6) to get the story of MK, because I am more interested in that now, than playing them. At I've got my classics on arcade, PC, and home systems, and MAT2 is just around the corner.

i'll still be as big a MK fan as i have been since the release of the first mortal kombat, its been my favorite game of all time, and nothing can disappoint me enough to dislike it anymore, let alone hate it, i'll always be a huge fan to ed boon and the team

ive been a huge fan of mortal kombat for about 12 years and i am certain that even if deception does somehow disappoint (no chance of that IMO) it will not put me off the series in any way,even mk special forces and annihilation couldnt do that! i enjoy playing and collecting mk stuff as much now as the first day i came across mk.Today im happy because my musetta vander autograph and mk pinball table arrived in the mail,something else to play through the unbearable wait until deception!

I probably will be dissapointed because every time
I hear the latest news, screenshots etc... It seems
cooler and cooler! And when it's finally released, it
will have been so hyped up in my head that it will
never be as good as I'd hoped.

I'm not saying it'll be bad, it will just dissapoint me
and if it is krap (yeah,RIGHT!?) I will still be a fan
because I just like the whole MK "thing".

That's very true. MK:D seems to be darker, sleeker in feel than MK:DA. But even so...think about this: Will the next MK after Deception be as MK3? And what about MK4?
