I think Quan Chi will be more obvious and people will cry about no Shang Tsung.

Then suddenly......

When you beat ghost/zombie Liu Kang on Very Hard his form fades away to reveal an enraged Shang Tsung who was morphed as him all along (who you then must beat to unlock permanently).

Shang Tsung, no doubt about it.

I like Quan Chi alot better, hes just pure awesome and pure evil. One of the most bad ass villians ever.

But they will both be in MKD, i cant wait to see them.

Imagine one of those Chinese dudes from South Park with that horrible fake accent. Ok. He says this

I think that if Shang ever came back, they should remake his MK2 soul explode fatality. I think he should disappear as his combined soul power enters his opponent through every (at least almost every) orifice of his body. Then I would like to see the person writhe in pain as Shang's sould squeezes the opponent from the inside until they tear at the seams and their "ooze" drips from Shang's body as his souls take shape again into his physical appearance.

If Shang Tsung could morph and also retain his Snake and Crane styles, I'd pick him. Otherwise I'd choose Quan Chi so Scorpion would still have someone to beat on.

As you've guessed already...Shang gets my vote

Without Quanchi's assistance they couldn't get rid of Liu Kang so I'll say Quanchi is more powerful but storywise Shang should definitely return.

I like them both, but I prefer Quan Chi and he is also my favorite character.

Quan Chi is a fresher character and have more potential than Shang Tsung IMO

I'd pick Shang Tsung over Quan Chi any day.

However he needs a better soul steal fatality, something simple like grabbing the beaten foe by the neck, lifting them off the ground and sucking their soul out with the other hand.

AND he needs his morphing back, maybe on the PS3?

Shang and Quan will be in Deception anyways, in the intro...

I like Quan Chi. I think we might actually see him in deception, I’m not entirely sure now but I think we will.

As for who is better?

Definitely Shang Tsung. He is one of the most original characters in the history of Mk. Everything about him makes him superior to Quan Chi.

His special moves, story, fatalities, looks .everything.

Shang Tsung, he has the classic element to him and his story kicks ass, all Quan chi is good for anymore is for someone Scorpion can go after.

Shang Tsung. In MK2 he was the best. If he does come back, I want him to have his morphing abilities.

Just save all the morphs onto the HDD, so there is no loading during the matches.
