If you could have one of the Deadly Alliance survive for Deception, would you prefer Quan or Shang?

I think I would personally prefer Shang. I like his old school roots. Don't get me wrong, I love Quan and his leg beatings, but I'll take Shang any day.

Shang no question hes one of the best MK characters ever.Hes right up there with Kitana and Kung lao.Quan to me just seems like a cheesy character.

I definately liked Shang Tsung much better as far as gameplay, but when it comes to interesting story, I would rather have Quan Chi live. Plus, his ending seemed way more reasonable than Shang Tsungs

Shang Tsung, no doubt about it. I always liked Shang, and thought he made an excellent bad guy... Quan Chi however, I've never been particularly fond of.

It's a toss up, really, but I think I'd give the edge to Shang. Even though Quan Chi is much more sadistic and evil. I just have a soft spot for Shang.

If you are one of those people that learns every single move for every character, imagine the possibilities for Shang if Midway could utilize his morphing abilities in a three-style fighting system with about 25 other characters. He would be unstoppable, but only for the players with high skill and dedication.

id rather have shang stung stick around. i mean quan chi is cool and i would love it if both would continue on into deception. but if i had to choose it would be shang stung all the way! he is just to cool!

If it's for the fighting styles and original look then I'll say Quan Chi.
