Why do you hope hes dead he was probably one of if not the best char in the series. Well actually subzero is the best but thats beside the point. He is awesome and im upset that hes dead.

I think it's like the little bio we got in the MK:DA booklet. The bios were split in MK3 too I believe.

I've stated that I think Raiden is dead for various reasons during this thread, but I think the fact is right now that no one knows what Raiden's true fate is at the moment. So I think we should just cool down about this until we get some more detail from the MK Team.

Im not too great at the whole MK story but think about this for sec. In MKDA's intro Raiden said I have relieved my status as elder god to help Earth to fight this deadly alliance or something almost like that. Well now if Raiden would die would that make him a elder god then he could still help probably. So why would he be dead he could probably come back I think he's mortal.

Even though I want to wait until we get more info, I think that Raiden is a deception. With the bio and the new wallpaper they could have put any of the characters we've seen before there, but we get Raiden? Out of nowhere? We haven't heard a thing about him and now we're seeing him everywhere? He has the same DA costume. I don't know for sure, but now it makes me more worried that we'll see him go. Believe me I don't want to see him die, but that just the most likely right now. But then again you can't trust anyone about anything involving the game until you have it in your XBOX or PS2 in October.

Well It also says that MKD take place be4 the end of MKDA so maybe Raiden didn;t change because of that. Now your probably gonna ask why did the others change well there could be a few things Subs new look maybe because of the Dragon Medalions power. Or they don't want to show us a picture of raiden yet because they want to keep it on the low lol. there more reasons also.

i don't think they would bother mentioning him if he wasn't going to be in it, i think if you remember in his ending for MKDA, he gave up his elder god status to protect earth realm against the dragon king, i think he used whats left of his god like essence to try to destory him, now his is mortal, also they made a wallpaper of radian. he has to be in it.

Lol, I have NEVER ONCE said that Raiden won't be in the game, I know he is, that is why they have a bio and a wallpaper for him, but I believe that the deception is that he dies in the intro, while we think he will be alive in the game. I also believe that he will be playable with his Deadly Alliance attire, enhanced, and not anything new. Believe me I could be wrong, and I'll be the first and the most glad to admit it.

We dont know the faith of Raiden at this moment. So we will probably have to wait until the game comes out. But dont forget the title is "DECEPTION" and Ed Boon said that fans will be guessing about the storyline until the very end and still be wrong. Everything is not what it seems.

Oh god I hope Rayden isn't dead, I really do. I can't imagine MK without him. I actually had a tantrum when he didn't show up in MKII.
