Listen, I've been watching the boards for years now, literally. I only joined recently, simply because I want to get to know the community that I would be playing against. HOWEVER, I'm not liking what I see. Here's why:
Frankly, all you bitter little losing kids bitch too much.
1) "Oh, he throws too much!"
2) "Damn, he just cheesed me with a 95 hit combo!"
3) "My God, he killed me with a death trap!"
4) "That sonofabitch just just used his weapon stance!"
GROW UP, ya whiney bitches!! If we were going to make you ALL happy, then that means:
1) We cant use the throw button.
2) We cant use ANY buttons that do combos.
3) They put in the death trap so we WOULDN'T use it. (Schmuck!)
4) AND we cant use our weapon stance.
Frankly.... what the fuck are you all smoking?
Seriously. If he throws too much, DUCK, uppercut or THROW BACK!! If he teleports, BLOCK dumb-ass! If he teleports and throws, BLOCK LOW, ya insufferable group of retards!
OH MY GOD, they did a combo on me! Well stop being a clingy fruitcake, and USE one of the 3 combo breakers they give you! And for the love of god, if you get pissed about someone using the weapon stances, CONTACT ED BOON, AND ASK HIM TO MAKE A PATCH THAT REMOVES ONE THIRD OF EVERY FIGHTERS FIGHTING ABILITY.
Frankly, I'll be honest. What I'm about to say is going to piss alot of people off, but all the SKILLED players secretly agree with me, wether they publically admit it or not;
If you get caught repeatedly by ANY of the things I mentioned above.................THEN YOU SUCK. Plain and simple. No mystery to it. YOU SUCK.
And maybe you should BUY the brady guide, learn how to do a combo every now and then or something. They also teach you how to use the breakers as well, maybe you should all study that shit, might make something of your online gaming ability.
I'm just so sick and fucking tired about hearing these whiney bitches go ON AND ON about how, in short, they got beaten. SO WHAT, no one cares. If you can't escape a throw, then you DESERVE to lose. If you can't block/counter/sidestep a combo, then YOU DESERVE TO LOSE.
If you die by getting knocked into death traps all the time... STOP STANDING BY THE EDGES, STUPID! (And yes, even if they 'corner trap' you, fight your way out, it IS possible.)
But for God's sake, while your learning how to play the game... PLEASE stop bitching, it's ridiculous how amazingly enough, you are all so 'good' and 'skilled', yet some asshole who teleports and throws beats the crap out of you REPEATEDLY. Think about what I just said. If the truth hurts, check your ass into the emergency room, and stop your bitching.

I think you need to take a chill pill and realize that this a video game. It's not the fucking end of the world. You need to get over it. People are gonna bitch; people are gonna complain. Stop playing mk online if you have such huge freakin problem with the people you fight. Don't come on here and try to tell people how to play a video game.

First off, Rokker, your probably one of the people who bitch and moan. There are some people who have skill,a nd there are some people who dont. The ones who dont always bitch about the ones who do. That is the way of things, I'm aware. But rather than bitch and complain, use the time you could have saved writing a post on a message board, and use that time to learn how to do certain combos, or block certain moves.
Just stop bitching and complaining because youlost. LIKE YOU SAID: its only a video game, so someone should tell these f-losers to realize that, and stop whining.

And yes, in reposnse to the above post, it is 100% positive that you can 'block' throws. (You evade them, actually.) All you have to do is crouch low, while blocking. If the opponent goes to throw you, their arms will grab thin air right above your head, and you can counter-attack, if your fast enough.

Morpheus, Im on PS2 (For now.)
As for XBAND, I was incvolved in -D-, which had a bunch of famous people. Some of them played Killer Instinct.

i do believe you are referencing a post that I made with the whole teleporting thing
first off, I didn't make the thread and what I posted was most certainly not bitching. I don't bitch.
as a matter of fact I posted the way to deal with the problem. Since everyone was sharing their personal experiences I shared mine to show that it happens to everyone and sometimes you are not expecting it so you're thrown offguard (no pun intended) and you lose
and another thing, I never bragged about being the greatest mk player or "skilled" or "good"

And just so you know, Morpheus, in answer to your question on the other thread, yes, XBAND was the first ever online-enabling device used on the home consoles. It was available for both SNES and Sega Genesis.

I was the master of MK4 and I had about 26 wins in a row playing against people who were older than me and this one dude wanted to take me outside and beat me up for whuppin him ...............because he said I cheesed him on the last match.

it was weird cause i said something to the effect of someone teleporting and beating me in a thread today on here lol
it really doesn't bother me at all that i get my ass handed to me on a plate... I just love to play against other people :)

There will always be cheap players and if you cant find away to avoid a cheap tactic then you most likely suck at the game. For all those who suck there is a solution...practice. Eventually, cheap tactics wont work on you anymore...and you with laugh at those that try em.

I'm not the best at MK, but I never bitch when I am beaten. What is cheap? Logically, if one person can input commands onto a controller to beat the ever-living snot out of you..... you have the option to input the same commands. Their game/characters/movelist is not different than yours.
It seems that most of the ones that bitch don't fully understand what their opponents are doing to beat them. My advice... take the time to learn more, practice the game, and keep getting whooped until you can dish it out like you have taken it. That is the best feeling in the world.
I remember always losing at MK in the arcades to one guy; I could own all at the arcade except for him(I dreaded his quarter on the machine), but I never gave up, and when I did start to beat him, he said, "you've gotten good". That is what accomplishment is... repetitively attempting or working toward something until you succeed.
Of course you can win if people don't block, throw, sidestep, duck, use specials, combo, or turtle... they don't have any options left. You'll beat them everytime. This in no way constitutes a fair game because you have dictated the methods to be used.... which, more often than not, is the only method you yourself use when playing(and are really great at it)
To those, I say, "learn something new... your method is not working online."
Kung Fu is not a martial art. Simply put, it means time and energy. If you are not willing to spend the time or energy, don't expect to beat the ones that have.

So far, I agree with just about everything that you guys have said. Like I said, alot of skilled players feel this way, especially when they get bitched at for being good. Its ridiculous how many people get pissed off, and cant handle the fact that maybe, just maybe, someone was actually better than they were.
I dont understand why people dont just take the time, and go into practice mode. I sucked, then I practiced. Voila! I dont suck anymore! So for gods sake people, USE the practice option in the game! You might learn a few things. *lol*

Everyone is talking all this amazing shit about how Bo Rai Cho is the best in the game because of how broken he truly is.
Some idiot even went on record to say that Shujinko is BRC anti. Well frankly, heres the way it goes.
In order to BEAT the BRC bullshit cheese, you have to play as someone who ALSO has a difficult, unavoidable cheese themselves.
How to beat BRC: Simple. Pick Noob-Smoke, wait till that fat sonovabitch tried to do his bullshit F+3 on you, and smoke cloud him. While hes coughing his balls off, do Smoke's INFINATE combo.
If you cant beat Bo Rai Cho like that, then you dont deserve to have a controller in your hands, and should return your game immediately. Its 100% guaranteed to get you your all-important win.
So everyone, please stop shit-talking/whining about losing to BRC. He AINT THAT GREAT AGAINST A SKILLED PLAYER!

actually id rather face the smoke infinate then the bo rai cho shit..
my only whine~i refuse to face bo rai cho and dairou...
on a side note tho~that smoke infinate, is probably the only way to destroy bo rai cho.. grin hmm i really should unlock them now, they r the only 2 i have yet to unlock lol..
i have been able to get out of that smoke infinate w/ sindels speed stance (fu jow pai) i bet liu could get out of it also, but those r the only 2 that r that fast.. that i know of.. confused again i could be wrong... wink

Honest to God, heres the deal.
I'm one of the few players who can use NOOB-SMOKE with SKILL, or I can play them with CHEESE. And then, if you piss me off, I can play with the infinate combo.
See, heres the thing though. I have played over 2,200+ games online, between all 3 of my names. I TRULY believe that I may possibly have the best NOOB-SMOKE on the PS2. (I don't know about XBOX)
I dont rely on the infinate combo, like all the bullshit Bo Rai Cho cheesers.
See, BRC users will play the round, and ONLY do one thing, over, and over, and over again. F+3 in Weapon Stance, Throw, 4 hit combo. OVER, and OVER, and OVER again.
I don't play like that, I will beat the ever loving shit out of you with Noob-Smoke, and I will do it FAIRLY. Albeit, I do it in such a way the match is usually over within 15 seconds, I DO do it fairly.
The only times I have used the Smoke Infinate is against BRC cheesers, as well as on people who do only the same shit over and over again. I figure it like this.....
If your only going to do the same 2 moves repeatedly on me, Im going to do the EXACT same shit to you. Frankly, I truly do believe, from a first person perspective, that a Noob-Smoke player IS NOT ALWAYS CHEESY, and I want to get that across to all you shit talkers.
SO STOP WHINING ABOUT NOOB-SMOKE, YOU SONS OF BITCHES!! I'm sick of it!

Noob-Smoke is good, but not really cheesy. They just have a lot of good confusing speed moves, they can be blocked just like everything else. Plus, keep in mind the fact that they have no weapon style.
