Like I said You HAVE to send it in first, or you dont get credit, they dont always check the boards, sometimes(rarely, they will put it on a lead if they see it there first, but that is like a shooting star, it doesnt happen very often.

Like mortalkombat247 said, it has been site policy for a long while now that credit goes to the first News Lead Submission that comes in. The only usual exception to this is if we got there was no News Lead Submission at the time of the article submission. The fact is that 95% of the time, news that is credited from users did come from a News Lead Submission, as we saw it there first.
This was explained in a sticky post in the General Discussion forum; we'll probably add it to the Community FAQ before V7 is released.

*sigh* just another thing on GameSpot I can't see because I don't have the WMV format(same with Ign)

The video is pretty cool, it doesnt show all the deathtraps, but it has footage of some we havent seen on video as clearly.
