I'm excited about the new trailer GameSpot's posted, as well. GameSpot's given us a lot of new info:
1) A look at what we believe are Nightwolf's an
Ben's alternates.
2) A look at the new prison stage
3) A look at a new Chess Kombat background- the Dead Pool from MK2
4) The video reveals the blue clad woman using a mace to fight, though it's unclear whether she picked the weapon up or not. It also shows Kenshi using what appears to be a hammer (right before he's booted off the roof- requires a freezeframe)
5) The video also reveals a closer look at the yin/yang beach stage
6) Finally, I believe that's Ermac running by the player in the preview on Konquest mode.
All in all, I'm satisfied.

"The settings for the game offer a tip of the hat to Mortal Kombat's history and feature backgrounds based on arenas from Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat II. The demo features the monk temple from the original MK (complete with clapping monks) and the portal and death pool from MK II."
*sniff* this is the stuff that dreams are made of.

Ok, I have Gamespot Complete but the first video at the bottom is corrupted unless it is streamed. I think pretty much all of the footage is the same as what we already know, alot of which is in the interview video.
That board game has got me very interested...

It is corrupt, but thankfully it is exactly the same as the IGN #2 trailer. So we aren't missing anything.

Everyone see inside the jail? (X-Boxshots) Easily spotted Jerrod and looking at the feet, I'd bet my MK collection that is Jade!

In a different pic, you can see cells containing Fujin and Drahmin, too. *nod*

Ok a couple of things I think need to be answered. The first...during the interview with Ed Boon he mentions that the "main grid of characters" is going to be 24, but as you go further into the game there will be more than what you initially see on the select screen, "growing into the full size". Now does that mean that there are more than 24 characters, that the initial select screen will have less than 24, or is he just referring to seeing the different characters throughout the game i.e. the Prison Stage and Konquest?
Secondly, regarding Skab. During the interview that they show different clips of characters. At one time they show Noob fighting Ermac (1:16), the stage where you can fall through the wooden floor, and Skab fighting Sindel (2:04) in the belly of the Nethership. Both have the same fighting stance/style. With one palm over their heads. Now, is this because they are the same character, or just using the same styles for programming sakes? Just a couple of thoughts....

Another thing at Gamespot is if you go to the main page, (not main MKD, but the primary page) they show a MKD ad with the horn headed dragon king more clearly and shows it's wings. Thus putting an end to the idiots who argue that it's Shao Kahn!
OMG im a die. lol, wow!! This game is going to blow!!!! The uppercut has been confirmed! yes!! Theres only 1 thing that can make this game better for me, and its if they confirm the "faster gameplay" or the "foward dash" wish i love so much. But anyways, the jail cells are really interesting. I wonder whats up with those specific characters being locked up. Hm..
