Kira is gonna be one of the greats.

I think Dmitch might be right on this one I think its another of Noobs costumes but the way the helmet is it looks like the spot by KENSHI. Nimbus that would be sweet if it was him or maybe smokes been gone and joined the Brother of Shadows.

Who is Nimbus anyway? I've never heard him being part of the MK story in any way...

Didn't someone from Midway (maybe it was Boon)say that old school costumes could be unlocked...that could be the reason that Kabal looks so similar.

I've seen numerous posters who want that fatality back, but I don't understand why. Most people hated the cartoony style of the MK3 fatalities, and that was one of the cartooniest fatalities in the game. Kabal's exposed face was cool, but scaring the guy to death was lame.

Have you noticed that Jade and Kabal appear to be fighting in the shower of the Prison stage? There are showerheads on the ceiling. Don't drop the soap, Jade!

Also just to add for everyone else. F is Noob Saibot, so why would that see through character who is I be Noob when he is F. Do the math, whoever that is, it's definitely not Noob. It's pretty safe to say it's Smoke.

I dunno how good the old scare fatal would work in 3d. I'd love to see Kabal feed his respirators into the opponents mouth and blow them up would be nice. Maybe a dash move then sticking a hookblade into the spin and body parts go flying out. Throwing out the ground blade and sawing the person in half would be nice too.

Li Mei looks like she's holding some sort of shield, which I think might compound the "dragon king soldier" plot if that in fact remains her final weapon. EDIT: On second viewing that seems more fanlike than shield like, so forget what I said. Though it is odd that one of them is open and one is closed. Still, Li Mei needs a weapon now that Mileena has the sais, and if Kitana is sitting this one out, seems like a logical place for them to go since her mom has that staff thing.

The guy she's uppercutting is obviously Ben, who seems to have inherited the kali sticks (no string / chain for chucks).

The chick in red / black is obviously Kira, and she seems to not only have a variation on Kano's double knives (seems like double daggers) but she appears to have the ear to ear combo, that Kano / Hsu Hao had.

Noob now seems to have at least 3 outfits; All Black with vest, all black no vest, and white arms ninja. So does this mean everyone has 3 outfits or just some degree of customization?

Not that it's substantial, but the chick in green's outfit is nothing like the Tanya "yellow" outfit from that one movie. So, either it's been updated, that's an alt, or that is a new character (probably Jade or maybe a new one for Kitana).

Kabal looks bad-ass though hardly "all new", has his hook swords and face projectile.

I'm inclined to believe inviso guy is smoke, because if he's noob, then noob officially has four outfits. I can't believe nobody has tossed around the possibility that Smoke has joined the brotherhood of shadow, it's a convenient way to explain his revert from cyborg form.

All in all, this is good news. Lot of good designs.

Acording to his MK3 ending he was once friend and allied with SubZero. If Smokes ever joins a clan, it would make a lot more sense if he joins the Lin Kuei clan lead by SubZero imo. It has being said that Smoke still have a soul.
There is no reason at all for him to join the Brotherhood.

I like the transparent idea for smoke but his costume is overated.

It's hard to see Kabal but he looks good.

Jade/Tanya looks good.

Kira looks cool I like the pig tails.

I've gotta say, MK:D has some of the worst female costumes I've ever seen. Save for Ashrah, ALL the women look like carbon copies of each other.

I really hope that alt costumes are much more diversified. It just looks like MKD is becoming DOA.

True, but remember, after MK3 both Smoke and Sub Zero were on the run, and from then until whenever MK4 ends Sektor is running Lin Kuei (until Subby beats him).

I would bet dollars to donuts that since Smoke wasn't in 4, he and subby somehow got separated, or Smoke just ran off to try and come to terms with being a cyborg. (Human Smoke MKT ending says he is pretty distraught over it)

If by some chance he came into contact with Shinnok, or Noob before refinding sub-zero (or any of the other brotherhood folk) he could've made some sort of deal to kind of get changed back.

She's cute and all, but I doubt Sub would've brought Frost to war in DA if he had his best buddy Smoke by his side.
