Who was that guy/girl in the first pic? I kinda reminded me of stryker for some reason. Anyone know who it is?

So I'm guessing I'm the only one disappointed with Kabal then.

1. If that's his primary costume it would be bad coz it's the same as his MK3 costume.

2. Looks like Kano but with the respirator mask and longer hair.

Yeah, I think you are.

I want him to look exactly like he did in MK3, maybe subtle differences.

Leave the rest to alternate costumes.

if you look closely it looks like you could see kabals hook swords. so he's got them back

Kabal looks great, I couldn't think of him looking any other way. Though I have a sneaking suspicion that's his alternate. I'm dead sure that that is Smoke, cause I did see some Smoke come out of the arm type things. I'm still having doubts about that being Jade. My bets are Tanya's alternate. I'm just saying this considering Jade is on the Prison Stage, and I think it would be weird if there were 2 on the same stage. But that never stopped mirror matches, oh well.

I zoomed into the kabal pics and focused it by a hundred.so far it likes a tan buttoned sleevless shirt..and over thAT is a brown vest. his mask is totally diffrent from before..he doesnt have the goggle look on his eyes..it looks the the eyes that the vyborg look but silver. so its not reallt the same look. its got the same colors as hi old outfit. buts it good to kno he doesnt have tight a$$ pants anymore.

It's about time we got more Deception screenshots....and they look great! And of new characters(well, kinda new), so that's good. I hope Kabal will still have that screaming messed up face fatality, that was pretty funny and freaky.

cant wait for the lu kang screen shot or the sektor 1 if hes in it. and i wish some1 would clear up the kitana/lie mie characterand the jad/tayna one too.all thats left to see is raiden,jax,lu kang,and i hope there r more charaters that are hidden.

As for that invisible dude, I think it's either Noob because of the Brother of the Shadow logo on the boot. However he looks different than in other screenshots, so maybe it's Smoke. Or even better, maybe it's Nimbus (The other member of the Brothers of the Shadow). That would totally kick ass.

I'd have thought they'd have trashed the older MK3 look for Kabal since the team overall disliked that look from what I'd known...I'd have thought a maskless scarred looking Kabal with tubes in his neck or something would have been the new look. Ah well, looks cool overall though!

I'm gonna have to agree with Ty and say that I think the lady in green is Jade (who looks fantastic by the way!). Also Li Mei had BETTER NOT keep those Damn fans...NO Kitana, NO fans!! From the screen shots it seems that Kira is indeed turning out to be "female Kano" sigh they could have done so much better with her..I mean She has the two short swords but she's using them the SAME way Kano used the Butterfly knives...and that kick she's doing that is a kick from Kano's Xing Yi stance...very dissappointing. They could have just stuck Kano in the game instead. I hope her other fighting style is a brand new one to the series. Glad to finally see Kabal!

Here's my ratings:

Kabal:8 (Love the old school luck, looks like Kabal's been hitting the gym while he was gone, plus he has the hookswords again, Kabal 1, Mavado 0)
Kira:5 (The weakest of the bunch)
Smoke:7 (Cool design, but they need to emphisize the smoke a bit more if they don't want him confused with other people, plus, lose the blood, don't make Smoke bleed!!!)

The weapon's for the specific aren't confirmed yet so we'll have too wait before babbling mouths off.

Why the hell not Nimbus? I don't remember Smoke looking anything like that or belonging to the Brothers of the Shadow.
